Love Pearl Izumis!

This is my third pair of Pearl Izumis. Prior to training for my first marathon I went to a running store and these were one of the shoes that they suggested. I've been buying them ever since! My only complaint for this particular pair is that after only about 5 wears, they are starting to smell. This has not happened with my previous pairs.

While trying them on I could feel my toe hitting the front of the shoe which is no good for running

These shoes were a lot smaller than I expected them to be. I usually wear a 6.5 or 7 and these were way too short in the toe box. While trying them on I could feel my toe hitting the front of the shoe which is no good for running. I liked the style and the sole seemed fairly supportive. But these went to my mom who has smaller feet than me.

I had to put in gel insoles to feel like my feet had enough padding

I've jogged with these shoes about 10 times. They're supposed to be for people who overpronate (feet lean in toward the middle). They do an ok job of compensating for overpronation. I had to put in gel insoles to feel like my feet had enough padding. They look pretty nice. Here's an average score for an acceptable shoe.

Cute and comfortable!

I love these shoes! They look so cool and are very comfortable. I wasn't expecting the tongue to be white but they're still awesome. I got a blister on just a 5 mile run but that happens to me with all new shoes - I will update this review that doesn't sort itself out soon as expected. Recommend!

OK, could be better.

Shoes are OK. I really like the W-EM Road N better. This is my second pair & I learned from the first pair that you need a half size larger for a good fit. These don't seem as stable as the Road N to me.

Good for mild pronation

Highly breathable, which is critical for me. Good for mild pronation. I'm not huge on the bright orange/pink color, but I like the shoes. This is my second pair. I run 1-5 miles on a grass course.

Excellent!

Superb, they arrived fast from England to Canada . Seller was sweet to realized this was a gift without me even asking ! Just awesome, I am ordering another pair soon ! These shoes are excellent for people who have a high arch like me. It's hard to find shoes with good support . For my feet, only Pearl Izumi and Saucony work.
