This is perfect for ultrasound pictures - I get a lot of ultrasounds and love having somewhere safe to put the pictures and protect them.

Not as expected

I fell in love with my memory book for my first born that I wanted one for my second just like it. I gave this one a try : Overall the product is good quality, however the inside is very monotone , a bit underwhelming and if you are looking to keep track of monthly milestones this book only does 1 yr - 5.

The book is sturdy, but the pale pink lettering used for the font inside is very light. Would have preferred a darker font that is easily legible.

Very nice baby book!

I had also bought a baby book from Pearhead with my first daughter and it was great quality. I am happy to find a gender neutral one for my second baby since we decided to wait until birth to find out the gender this time around. The book comes in a little keepsake box to keep it from getting damaged. I do wish that the book itself had a cover like other baby books that I have seen but the box has sufficed. The pages feel thick and are good quality and the book itself is very sturdy as well. What I like about the Pearhead baby books compared to a few other baby books I looked at is that there is a page to put baby's hand and foot print. When I had my daughter, I brought it with me to the hospital and they did it for me while they did the prints for hospital. It is so nice to be able to see how teeny tiny those prints were at birth. There are also lots of pages to write about our family, baby shower and also a page for age 1 - 5. I wish there was a little but more space but this will do!

Third Times a Charm!

This is the third baby book I've purchased and worked with (as I have three children), and each book has been different. This one has been my favorite of the three. I tend to like the books that provide more space for writing (over just pictures), and this book provides ample room for writing. In each of my baby books, I cram more pictures onto a page using software that fits four pictures onto a 4x6 photo print. This is always an option for people who, like me, want more photos in the book. However, do note that there isn't a TON of photos in this book in comparison to other baby books I've seen out there. The "Firsts" page was simple and only included six moments, which I LOVED (because, let's be honest--it's hard to remember to jot all those "firsts" down), but there's a generic "Other Firsts" page that allows you to decide which firsts to include. I LOVED that this book doesn't have a first teeth page. I attempted those pages in my two previous children's books, but failed after the first few teeth. Overall, I'm super happy with the prompts/content in this book. I did take off a star because the binding on the back few pages is a bit funny, which doesn't allow the pages to lay flat. A few other notes: - There's a Baby Shower page, and many people don't have a baby shower after baby #1 (I simply put photos on this page, covering the heading with pictures) - The set-up of the family Tree page doesn't provide space for families with step-parents/non-traditional families. - There's a whole two-page spread devoted to "All my Visitors" and "I Got These Gifts" (which I found to be too much space; again, I just put pictures in)

Nice but very pale print inside.

I wasn't expecting the print on each page to be so light in color. Maybe it is meant to make whatever you write really stand out on the pages. Other than that, very nice, simple baby book.

Not what I was expecting

I ended up returning this book. It wasn’t what I was expecting. I wanted one that had more pages about the baby/child and their growth for her to have when she’s a bit older. However, this one has more about mom and dad info. and how they met etc.. then about child. So ya, I returned as it wasn’t what I was looking for.

No monthly writing spaces

Look the look of the book and places for pictures. Prompts are good gives enough space for writing. Kind of disappointed there are no monthly spaces for their first year. If you feel like this is important to document their monthly milestones to their 1st birthday, I would recommend getting a different baby book.

Modern, Affordable

Love this one, the modern design, and how it covers the first 5 years (one page each after 1 year old). I do find it has too much space alloted for gifts received at multiple places which were unnecessary and would have been better used for more info on pictures, first year events, or more pages for consequent years (I just covered them in with other things). But all in all the best one I found after looking a long time, apart from making your own which is $$$$

It’s okay

This is pretty standard with all of the usual question & answer type fill in the blank pages. There are no pages for each month in the first year, just starts at 1 year old which is too bad. There is a lot going on in that 1st year and it would be nice to be able to go into more detail.

Detailed baby book for first 5 years

I love this baby book because it’s not just the first year it’s the first five! I got this for my daughter when she was born 2.5 years ago so I made sure to get another for my son who was just born a month ago.
