I'm Lazy So I Use the Best I can Get

For use on 510A Bench Chain Grinder. These wheels are Delicate so examine them before you open the sealed envelope, they have arrived broken in the package. I don't use chain saws very much and I don't like filing chains. You may get longer chain life by hand filing BUT your chain will wear and stretch. IF YOU HAVE TO REMOVE links to shorten chain you will probably be damaging your sprocket because chain will have longer link spacing. I buy several chains and take them all so I can change chains rather than sharpening them.Using the professional sharpener is the way to go if you want to have equal link lengths and exact angles. Always having sharp accurately ground chains Makes a Really Big Difference is how your saw works. I don't use the sharpener that much but my neighbors do.

The original wheel I got with my Oregon Chain Sharpener was "noisy" with a lot of vibration. My guess was there was something wrong (balance, arbor opening, etc.) with the grinding wheel, but all three exhibited the same problem. However, rather than scrap everything, I decided to try this new wheel, and it was absolutely perfect. No more noise or vibration. And at a great price.!!

They need to be handled with care.

Good quality replacement for my tecomec chain grinder, sharpen standard 3/8 saw chain very well and last for many sharpenings. Would of gave it five stars but the first one I received was broke into pieces. Prompt delivery on the replacement wheel was a plus.

Wrong Item Description

Wrong item description, the description says 1/4 thickness, I received a 1/8" thick disk. Unless to me now, and I need this disk for this weekend, now I have to print a return label and go to the post office to send it back, which is a huge inconvience since I'm working 80km in the forest. And I need a disk for sharpening chains for work.
