Works Great.

Bought this after the rope broke on my old one that was on my pressure washer for 9 yrs. After I ordered it I realized I could have just replaced the rope on my old one duh! I was going to return it but figured the original was old and something else could break in the near future anyway so I just threw on the new one (very easy, 3 screws- 5 minutes). Glad I did, I can start it in one pull now instead of two and it's a lot easier and smoother than the old one.

Stens Products Rock!!!

I have a Honda Clone (ETQ TG72K12) and the spring assembly litterly fell apart. When I disassembled, that spring was worthless. A new one from another source was three times what I paid for this. I laid the two side-by-side, they are exactly alike. Sten is a great product, and although I haven't hooked it up, I can tell it will work when required. Shipping was extremely fast, I was looking at two weeks - 6 days! I strongly recommend this recoil starter.

Not quite to par with OEM

The quality in not quite to par with OEM. The coil retract will not last as long as OE and the ring where the pull string slides through will wear pretty quickly and start tearing your pull string. For the price it's an ok replacement. It will get you out of a bind. Unless it's something you don't use often. I replaced it on a mortar mixer and that thing is pulled on at least 15 times a day.

If you buy a $ 15.00 replacement part that’s usually $ 80.00 don’t complain if it last only a few times Be smarter then myself and buy what you really need the very first time . It’s worth paying more for a part that last.

okay part

Price on Part was good. part is somewhat flimsy compared to original. Part did bolt right on but has to be pulled carefully and it does not engage the flywheel every time. It does start engine which is what i needed. I did expect it too engage properly but it doesn't.

they actually seem better than the original that came on them

I Purchased 2 of these for 2 x 301cc (8hp) Predator motors (Honda clones) i have, the stock recoils wore out after a year of hard use in dust and water. These bolted right up and have worked perfectly, they actually seem better than the original that came on them.
