Metal threads. Good trigger design.

I've never had bad luck with an Orbit hose nozzle. With gardens, a home, cars, and kids you'll wear out a few of these in your life. The 'firehose' style trigger means you don' have to clamp on it. Nice feature as one ages! And when you throw it down on the ground it doesn't actuate the trigger and spray you. The trigger guard is sort of useless, other than aesthetically, and possibly if you want to hang it up.

THE BEST ONE YET

I ordered 4 of these in 2019, along w a lot of other brands (we have a lot of hoses around our property). Today, four years later, the Orbit is the only one still working, and my husband just asked me to get five more of these. They work the best and last the longest.

Durable

The 1st Orbit hose nozzle lasted about 5 years. That’s why I bought another one. Much better than the cheap plastic ones.

Only sprayer I will buy.

I typically get two to three years out of one of these but I'm extremely hard on them. I'm bad about dropping them on the concrete and whatnot, needless to say they deal with a lot of abuse on my side and take every bit of it. I personally depend very heavily on reviews that are posted on Amazon, as do many other consumers. I not only read what reviewers say, but look to see what their pictures reveal about a products true quality and description. I aim to not only feature the products I review in many different aspects, analyzing many qualities, I also provide my own opinions on ALL the good AND bad experiences I have with the product I review. I take time to learn and use a product as it was intended before I review it, and I have used this specific product thoroughly. My rating system: 5 - Met all my expectations. Was described and pictured perfectly. Exactly what I wanted and needed. Extremely useful product and a great value. Would recommend to family and friends. 4 - Very good product. Exactly as described. May have a minor flaw, mentioned in the review, that does not detract from the products perceived value. Would recommend to family and friends. 3 - Average product. Not exactly as described, or misleading advertising or product pictures. Possibly substandard build quality, or something else explained in the review. Would mention as an option to family and friends, but not recommend. 2 - Wouldn't recommend this product. Poor build quality, not close to being as described. Flimsy and fragile. Difficult to use due to product flaws. 1 - Do not purchase whatsoever. Usually only given if product lasts only a few hours/days/etc. I do not leave 1 star reviews without contacting the seller. I will be returning the product. I did NOT receive ANY discount for this product. I simply enjoy reviewing every one of my purchases.

Good sprayer. Missing the swivel attachment that it had previously

The previous model we have of this same sprayer had an intergral hose-swivel attachment which is a really nice feature... it allows the sprayer handle to twist/spin on the hose without coming unscrewed as the hose twist/winds around as you pull it in the yard. This model doesn't have that swivel and the model with the swivel doesn't seem to be available any longer. Other than that, it's great. We weren't sure we'd love the thumb switch but we both like it much better than the old grip-handle trigger etc.

Leaking

Worked great for a while. Has now started leaking just the same as the first one I bought. Bought in January, less than a year old. Thought it would last longer.

Excellent solid sprayer. Great for gardening

Have had it a week now. Absolutely love it. It’s a good solid weight, works smoothly and no leaks whatsoever with my new Flexzilla hose. I have lots of potted plants and a small veggie garden that I water daily. My shut off valve is below my deck and a pain to access. Love that I can just leave it on now. It also feels great in your hand. Highly recommend.

Even my husband love this! On the one setting it is almost like a pressure washer, very impressed I also like that you use the lever on the top to turn on and off but can also use it to manage pressure and open only part way.

Loved mine and bought another as gift

Really really love this nozzle. Will last years. My neighbour had one for years and I loved using it when looking after their yard. I bought one last year and then this one as a gift!

Decent nozzle, poor seal

The nozzle itself is decent and easy to use. The functions are useful. My complaint is with the little rubber gasket that seals when you attach it to the hose. It leaked right out of the package. It's an easy fix for $0.69 at any hardware store, but I would expect a new product to perform.
