Break easy
I love the lightweight clear. Look great However they do break easy. They are a good value for the price as the company if they are still open does it have a money back guarantee. I have been ordering and wearing these glasses for approximately 10 years

Poor quality; left earpiece opens too wide
I tried THREE PAIRS of these reading glasses; they were all defective. This is the message I just sent to Optx customer service: A few years ago, I bought a couple of pairs of your reading glasses at Walmart. They were great! They were lightweight, the little rubber grips on the earpieces made them comfortable to wear, and the lenses were easy to keep clean. However, they're starting to get wobbly, so I needed to replace them. Unfortunately, Walmart doesn't carry them anymore. So...I recently purchased 2 pairs of Optx 20/20 Airlite Reading Glasses from Amazon. The left earpiece on one pair opened at a very wide angle. I tried to tighten the screws, but that didn't help anything; it seemed like that left earpiece just didn't sit tightly against the front of the lens or something. The other pair seemed to be ok, so I requested one replacement pair from Amazon. But after trying the second pair for a few days, the left earpiece had the same problem; it also opened at a very wide angle, so the glasses basically fell off my head. I returned the second pair for a refund. After the replacement for the first pair arrived, I opened them, and THEY HAD THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM! The right earpiece is fine, but the LEFT EARPIECE OPENS AT A VERY WIDE ANGLE. I returned them for a refund. With ALL THREE PAIRS having the EXACT SAME PROBLEM, it seems that this must be a manufacturing defect and extremely poor quality control! I am really disappointed that the reading glasses I loved are now so poorly made that they are unwearable. Perhaps if you can fix your quality issues, I will try them again in the future...

Good, but poor quality control
I like these,and have used them before. They are lightweight, which is good if you happen to luck out and get a decent pair, because quality control is really poor. The first pair ordered through Amazon showed up with a crooked shape - sort of a twist in the frame that caused one ear piece to extend at a much higher angle than the other, causing them to sit ridiculously cockeyed (pun allowed). They came in a somewhat protective plastic case, but what is the point if the product inside is already defective. The replacement pair that came were acceptable. If I need another pair I would order again, but just leave plenty of turnaround time to re-order as necessary to get a decent pair. If there were not free returns it would be a no-go, but with free returns, sure, I can re-order until I get an acceptable pair.

Good inexpensive reading glasses
I carry my reading glasses in my front pants pocket. The glasses are very light and while even carrying them in the glasses case that come with them they do not show a bulge in my pocket like other glasses cases. The flexibility of the frames helps them from breaking. I used to buy Foster Grant reading glasses which were more expensive but the ear and nose pieces would fall off after a time. These glasses are relatively inexpensive and last longer.

Nice and light but too flexible.
I wear these all the time as I like them better than most other readers. They are nice and light. However, a screw fell out after 4 wk. Luckily I found it and fixed it. Biggest problem is that the plastic is so flexible they fall off too easily when leaning forward. Not sure I would get them again. They look like safety glasses. Still looking for that perfect pair of reading glasses.

Love these reading eye-glasses. They look expensive and feel so light on. The price is fantastic for this style of eyewear and the clear case is a nice touch too.
