Best Juicer

I used to juice with a motorized juicer and found it too difficult to clean. I will use this juicer forever-- easy to clean and assemble and make juice. We are excited to try making pasta and nut butters! We use it so much it stays on the counter.

Juicing soft fruit

I was happy with the juicer. I was somewhat disappointed that the pulp of the soft fruits like pineapple, oranges, and apples remained in the auger area, hindering full juice extraction. I ended up returning the item after 2 weeks use not because if the pulp issue but due to a defective auger. It had gash marks on the rims. Otherwise I was happy with it.

I’ve had a few Juicers over the years but this one is TRULY a great machine. Definitely get all the juice out of whatever you put into it.

First Day of use

Received this item early in the mail and was super excited about using it. I ran 5 lbs of carrots, two bags of green apples, 2 full bulk stalks of celery, 2.5 pd of strawberries, 10 ea tangelos, ginger root, 6 ea cucumbers, 1 large cantaloupe, beets and 4 bunches of kale. My family got me hooked on juicing and loaned me their Breville juicer. I found that it did not get all the juice I though it should get and my family said this one was way better. I read all the reviews took the good and the bad and decided to jump in on this investment. This juicer does an outstanding job on carrots, celery, beats ginger root. Not so good on cucumbers, strawberries and cantaloupe. On these last products I had to clean the screen alot, it is easy enough but its already moving slower than the last juicer. Kept telling myself quality and quantity over time. In the end of the day how much time do you want to spend juicing? Did I mention prep time. The chute on this one is very small I found my self having to cut up apples and splitting some of my carrots into quarters to get them to fit. The breville fit pretty much everything but a head of cabbage, LoL Hope this helps you before you dive into a large purchase like this. It is very quiet easy to take apart and clean. 30 days in I have used almost every 2-3 days for 2-3 hours at a time. Over all this machine did a real good job. Last night just over 2 hours in the machine just stopped no warning nothing. The back was warm but not hot to the touch. I check my outlets...(ok) Nothing. This morning I plugged it in and it ran but was making a slight grinding noise. NO WAY NOT 30 DAYS IN. Requested a refund..So far no problem.. I just wanted to swap it out for a replacement, not a choice. Went to order a new one they have gone up 50 + bucks. Sister in law told me about the NAMA Juicer checked out the reviews and videos on YouTube. Got it for the same price as the new Omega was gonna be... Sorry Omega.

I would buy it again & pay more!

This machine is absolutely amazing for the money, just buy it. I had 2 cheaper juicers before this one that "worked", but not to the same level as this machine. It's quiet, sturdy, extremely easy to clean and assemble, and extracts great juice with maximum efficiency. The waste comes out dry. On my previous juicers I would run the waste through again because it was still very moist. The design is well thought out and a pleasure to use. Oh, and you can buy replacement parts!!! I was forced to throw out my last 2 juicers because I could not replace broken parts. Believe me, if you use a juicer enough, at some point one of the plastic parts will break.

good product - comment about BPA

The description is accurate. this item is very quiet, as detailed. i live in an apartment and did it at 5am and legit you cant hear it from the other room. it also gets the pulp very dry. i saved the pulp, and made it into crackers, veggie meat balls, stir fry. i kept all of it and added it to recipes to give it more umff. lasagna. etc. i didn't try making nut butter, sorbet, baby food, or pasta, but i bet that this product makes those things very well. it is a very effective. cleaning it isn't terrible. there are YES a lot of pieces, but i found it a lot easier to clean than the centrifugal juicer that i had. not too many knooks or cranies for food to get into, so pretty much you just rinse every piece and its good to go. fast cleaning. do your research. look up differences btwn masticating and centrifugal. look up the vitamins that are kept. look up the risks of taking the fiber out in your diet. look up how long juicing shelf life is. look up other companies/brands and where they source their plastic and labor. all that being said, i found that the OMEGA J8006HDS was the best fit for me and my needs. the price is worth it too for the warranty - not every brand offers that warranty. I was very hesitant to buy bc i didn't feel the company had a lot of transparancy with the parts and where the plastic came from. the reviews were also confusing and contradictory. here is my correspondance with the company: ("is there bpa in the plastic?") Yes and no. We use BPA Free materials in as many parts as we can. This means the plastic used has zero BPA in the raw material. Problem is, these are not always strong enough for the juicing process. The auger and screens are made of GW Ultem which is a petroleum-based product. Meaning, it has BPA in the raw material used when making these parts. Luckily, the plastic extrusion process is done under extreme pressure and at high heat. This transforms the finished product so it is less likely to leach BPA into the juice. Additionally, when you hear of BPA and the need for BPA Free products, it is normally referring to containers and other items that have long contact with your end product AND/OR are used under high heat with your end product. Examples: Spring water in a plastic bottle. Microwave containers. Each of these gives the chance for leaching as the items are in contact for a very long time or in contact during a heating process. Since the juicing process does not happen under high heat and the juice is not in contact with the parts, except for a few seconds, this is not an issue. All of the testing we have seen in the past shows that there is no BPA leaching into the juice under normal juice conditions. i also asked about which country mine came from: The NC models are made in South Korea, no difference in operation just made in different countries. The plastic from south Korea is a little stronger. i decided to return this as i felt that juicing was not for me. i am a very healthy person - been vegan for years, run marathons, great diet and exercise. i take herbs and prefer natural medicine. i bought this juicer with the hopes of adding extra vitamins to my life to treat anxiety, better sleep, and more energy. however after more research, i felt that taking the fiber out of the fruits and veggies wasnt the best for absorption of the sugars and certain vitamins. i what i wanted was a new diet every day method, not just an every-now-and-then activity. i dont think juicing every day aligns with my diet philosphy, or goals. so i returned it. but that doesnt mean it isn't right for others.

Not recommend it for sorbets

We bought this juicer to be able to make sorbets, so we tried with bananas and it was great then we tried with strawberries and the juicer stopped working. Even when we let the strawberries at room temperature for 15 minutes it seems they were to hard cause the plastic pieces moved inside and they’re now locked with each other. Also of the instructions are wrong. The way to assemble the juicer to make nut milk is wrong. You need to put the strainer cone instead of the blank one.

So efficient

I’ve been using this juicer 2-4 times a day for a month now. It had been so wonderful. It’s quiet enough I can use it early in the morning while my kids are still asleep. I use less celery than I was using before with a centrifuge juicer and I can clean and have back together in minutes. It come with a scrub brush that I only have to use on one piece and it works very well to remove small pulp from holes. I’m still perfecting the tension on the end knob but getting the hang of it, cucumber I’m finding more difficult to master but the yield is always consistent. The only thing about this juicer that bugs me is the assembly of the parts, I feel like I’m turning the parts the wrong way but they are clearly marked and it isn’t an issue... it just bugs me!

Worth every penny!

Amazing juicer! Squeezes every last ounce of moisture from fruit and vegetables; does very well as a pasta maker, and is easier to clean than any juicer I've used. Excellent product!

Bien brosser le filtre

Facile à nettoyer sauf pour le filtre qui demande un peu d'attention. La brosse fournie à cet effet fait bien le travail. Suffit d'être un peu minutieux. Très satisfait.
