Easy to install with a bonus unlock feature

These were really easy to install on our cabinets. It was nice to be able to use the adhesive to install then if needed go back and add in the provided screws (but we didn’t find it necessary for most cabinets). I also really like that you can swivel them to be unloaded which was great for finishing up baby proofing early on but not having to live with everything locked up for just a while longer.

Serves it’s purpose

The media could not be loaded. I bought these to keep my cats out of their food drawers, because we have one who loves to break into cabinets and drawers and one who likes to pierce and open their food. I got tired of coming home to shredded food packets and wondering if my cats ate something they should not have. Installing these on drawers took so readjustments for me. It was hard FOR ME to find the right spot so it would actually lock the drawer and close properly, I’ve used these for 5 months now and one of my drawers is completely warm down, probably from my cat jiggling it trying to pry it open and from our daily use. You can see from the curve in the wood which could also be my fault. Be sure to press down when both opening and closing to avoid rubbing. Some padding up top or on the opposite side from the prong may solve that issue. I also thought I ordered black and they arrived white. Which was not a problem just not was I was expecting.

Work well

Got these because the cupboard has a drawer above which required a slightly longer latch so I could fit my finger in to push down the latch. The install was really easy and I like how you can rotate the latch arm to put it in a permanently unlatched position if you would like. The one thing I do wish was that they were just slightly longer. I have to press real hard on the button area to get them to disengage. Wish the push point was slightly further back so it wasn’t as awkward. It’s probably just my cabinet thickness too but that’s the only thing that it’s idea for my application. In the end though I’d totally recommend these to others who need something where the standard ones aren’t deep enough.

Easy to install, durable, and hard for kids to get into

So- first thing you need to know is to pay attention to where you place the latch! keep it close to the outside of the drawer or cabinet door so that you have maximum ease of access. This is a short latch and so it's essential you place it well or you will find yourself struggling a bit to get them open. That being said- everything about these is fantastic!! Shorter length latch means even less space for a kiddo to reach in and open it. The amount of pressure required to open it is made more difficult for the child combined with the length of the latch. Brilliant! There is the feature of being able to unlock the locks if you need to. I couldn't fathom why I would, but now that she's broken her leg and can't walk around on it for 4 weeks, I can unlock them all and rid myself of the tiny inconvenience that all latches are. These are not what I was originally looking for, and they cost a bit more, but are totally worth it! Once baby girl has figured out how to open the longer latches we first installed, I will be ordering more of these to replace them! As for anyone saying they don't stick... that's malarkey... I installed mine, pressed down and held them tight for a little while and left them unlocked for a day or two before putting any pressure on them. There has been zero issue. Obviously, the place you're sticking them needs to be clean and clear of any oils, etc. I don't know what else would cause these to come off. lol

Turning it on and off is a game changer!

We have used a few different types of this type of product, and it is annoying to have to screw in most types. This type you can screw in as well, but the sticker was most appealing to me. When we go it and installed it, i found when it was locked that it is slightly less easy to open as an adult than other types (you have to slightly close the door to push down and disengage the locking), but being able to twist the peg and allow normal access to the cabinet is SO nice. It will be nice to turn off the locks when the kids are not around, then back on again when they come back from school or whatever. I could see that feature working really well for grandparents as well, turning on and off the locking is very easy.

They broke after a month

The ones that we have to unlock multiple times a day broke. The sticky adhesive doesn’t work good either so expect to screw them in

The unused 10 of the 12 child locks were great!

Item installed correctly and as advertised but 2 of the child locks were missing adhesive wrap and had residual paint on them. Apparently there isn’t any QA on returns before sending them out as new. Only 10 locks from the set of 12 were needed from the set so thanks karma? Recommend inspecting all the locks to make sure they are actually new in box before starting the install process.

These don’t work!! Not made like they used to be!!

These are useless. Most of the time they don’t latch Depending on your cabinets once on you can’t get your fingers in to open cabinets the rest of the time they don’t stay latched. My grandson can open them with ease and he is 19 months old. Don’t waste your money!!

Not great for drawers

Very easy to install and works great. The only issue (as some reviewers have identified) is that it doesn’t work great on some drawers (there may be quite a large gap left when the drawer is shut)

These DO NOT work on drawers with european style cabinets

Be aware if you have European style cabinets with no face frame these latches will not work.
