Extraordinarily warm and comfortable

But not at all as stylish as in the photo. I bought my usual size and it is a bit too big. The sleeves are very long. It seems to attract dirt and I have several other white down coats so this is exceptional. The placket front is not nearly as attractive in person. No issues with the zipper others have complained of, but I would not think to return it because it is so warm and comfortable. I just wish it was as attractive as pictured. I have a slim athletic body.

Not sure if it’s authentic

The jacket arrived in a generic bag and without any tags. The lining is not the same as on the pictures. I am not sure if it’s an authentic and new item. At the same time, it’s light, it looks good and fits well. I typically wear size M in jackets, bought size 8, and it’s ideal. I could get away with 6, but it would not leave much room for a thicker sweater. I am still debating if I should keep the jacket or return it. I got a good deal, and for the price an authentic Obermeyer that fits so well would be a real steal. A Chinese copy is not something I would buy or wear.

Soft, light, warm, and sleek!

I was in need of an everyday winter coat for Chicago winters. I was planning on purchasing the North Face Arctic Down Parka II, but I didn't love the way the hood looked. While searching for something similar that wouldn't make me look like a marshmallow, I stumbled upon this coat from a brand I'd never heard of. I liked the way it looked in all the photos and decided to give it a chance. I'm SO GLAD I did. I purchased the black in size 12 (I normally wear an L in tops, I feel it runs true to size). It does not add any bulk, the waist can be cinched, it goes down to mid thigh while not being tight in the hips, and the faux fur goes all the way around the hood. There are several zip pockets in this jacket, the sleeves are soft on the inside and easy to put your arms through, and the inside of the neck has a very soft velvety fabric that makes it extremely comfortable. My black jacket does not have the pattern on the inside, it is just plain black. If you are on the fence on this, buy it!

Best coat ever!!

This is definitely the best winter coat I have ever owned! I love it so much and I'm even thinking about buying it in another color. I am glad I went with size 12 instead of a 10. I am 5'5" and 135 lbs. I needed the 12 because I have broad shoulders. Also, the arm length is perfect for me. I had been looking for a new winter coat for several years. Not sure how I found this one...but I am so thankful that I did!!

Warm, comfortable, nice quality!

My down llbean coat that I’d had for decades was getting tight. So I bought a cheap winter coat, poly fill at Costco. Terrible, it was not warm at all. So, I went back to down, bought this Obermeyer, and I couldn’t be happier. It pays to spend the extra on a nice down coat if you’re out in the cold. I walk my dogs every morning and this coat is great even at 15-20 degrees F. Colder than that and I’d need to add another layer. I am a size 14, but I got the 16 so I could layer up underneath if necessary. Otherwise, the 14 fit perfectly, I just wanted that extra room. The hood is also very comfortable and works great when needed.

Really warm.

Really warm. This coat is very well-made. Feminine fitted lines. Love the fitted cuffs as they keep out the cold air. Love the fabric Around the inside of the collar it’s very soft. Love the side zip pockets. Great detail. So worth the money. The hood keeps the cold off my face but I can still see.

Best winter coat I've had in a long time

It is super warm, water and rain resistant, and looks cute too! I am 5'4" and so glad I went with another reviewer's recommendation to get the petite (and I sized up based on all the other reviews). The length and the arms are just right for me. It has a ton of pockets. I love the sleeve cuffs and the warm fleece at the neck and in the hand pockets. I am LOVING this coat.

Love this coat

I love this coat so much that I have two (burgundy and tan) and got my sister to get one too. It is warm and what I love about it is the quality. I've been told that I am very particular about things and this coat checks the boxes from the soft material used around the neck/chin, to the the closure hardware, the internal pocket, and the snaps at the hem. It's just really well made and of course I got it on a very good sale.
