This is a high quality sun block and you certainly will not get sunburned wearing it but it's a little difficult rubbing in all the white. As long as you don't mind that look than this is for you.

GREAT SUN PROTECTION. Not so great beauty product
These mineral sunscreens function similarly to applying paint to your face, an oily carrier that dries to leave a thin coating of minerals on your skin. The technology for grinding and combing the minerals is now so advanced. that ONLY A SMALL amount will protect very well. I can't complain about clown face.....I don't like skin cancer. In combing with other beauty products, this ended up being put on the back shelf. It is more popular with the men in our family, but it does work for both. If you want to combine it with other beauty products, that can be tricky.

Do not recommend. It's very thick and hard to rub in, and it will show streaks if you don't rub it in. I wanted to use this for my sensitive skin that stings when I apply sunscreen, but what's the point if I need to rub my skin so much it becomes even more irritated? It is clear but when you sweat, the sunscreen kind of gathers in certain spots and you can see it. Also, while it is clear on the skin, it makes my eyebrows look grey lol. Though I have light skin, it might show up on skin that is medium or deep. It never really dries and becomes one with your skin so I need to set it with powder. Such an ordeal. I'm only going to wear it when I have to work outside. Good thing is it is gentle on the skin and doesn't hurt your eyes at all.

Overall good facial sunscreen and doesn't clog pores
Doesn't irritate my skin and goes on pretty smooth. It does however make my skin look slightly red but other than that, I like this facial sun screen

I love the whole skin care line
The only skincare that doesn't clog my skin. I love the whole skin care line. I'm prone to clogs and breakouts and I use this on my neck and check and face when exercising outside.

Horrible grayish white cast, but very effective
All mineral sunscreens will have a white cast. However, this one has a grayish tinge to it that is so unflattering and does not fade. Others may have a white cast, but at least on light skin, they may have a brightening effect that looks ok. However, the Obagi is very effective. I was outside in the sun for several hours, with a wide brim hat and glasses, and this did a great job. I didn't get any sun that I can tell. If I can't return it, I will only use this in situations where I need sun protection but don't care how I look. I guess another "plus" to the gray white cast is that you can tell that it's still on your face.
