Great mop

Good product

I clean a 2,500 sq ft shop 3 days a week using this O-Cedar flip mop and I really like it. I can't use a big mop bucket because it's too heavy but I can easily clean this mop head. Some time the velcro wears out before the rest of the mop, but then I just use a safty pin. I get so much mileage out of this.

Buy 2 or 3 extra mopheads

The velcro that holds the mop head becomes worthless after the mophead is washed a number of times.

Not Like They Used to Be

These mop pads are not good on luxury vinyl flooring. It’s almost like they slide over the surface as if there were some sort of barrier even with extreme pressure applied. (Maybe it is the red stitching??!?) I went back to using my older O’Cedar pads for this type of flooring.

Every part of mop head effectively cleans, Not just outer edges.

I got tired of buying Swiffer replacement pads and separate ones for wet mopping and dry mopping. I remembered how we had these o’Cedar mop heads when we cleaned our home for sale, and how effective they were, so I purchased a couple of sets of these. I could not be happier, nor could our housekeeper. Not only are they reusable and cost efficient, but they also pick up dust and dust bunnies far better than the Swiffer ever did. All of the little nubs are in use as opposed to just the outer edges of the Swiffer. We also love that we just throw them in the washing machine when we’re done and the cost of water and soap are far less than a package of replacement Swiffer. We also don’t have to spend extra time and extra money to find and purchase the extra long Swiffer, which can be hard to find. We use one of these for every room, first try mopping with the blue nubs, and then wet mopping with the flat side. My dark cherry floors have never looked cleaner, and I’ve never been so streak-free. I’m thrilled to be getting rid of all of my “convenience” staples From when I was single and replacing them with what I should’ve been using all along because they are so much more convenient and effective. I cannot recommend these mopheads enough. They are fabulous, and I knew it, and for reasons I can’t explain, I just simply forgot.

Cleaning my wood floors so much easier than it used to be!

I only use these microfiber mops now - I never use a real mop and only use a swiffer to get dust out from under the couch. I have a one sided O-Cedar mop as well but this flip dual sided mop is by far my favorite. I use a spray for my wood floors and work in sections spraying and mopping & this mop is perfect for that. Once I spray and use the shorter side to mop, I flip the other side over and buff out the streaks or any extra wetness that is there no matter what type of spray I have used. With a one sided mop the short side stays wet and I can't buff out the streaks. It's like when you windex glass, it's best to go over it with a dry cloth or paper towel to get any streaks out. My grandmother used to use two different mops, one to clean and one to buff - and was very happy to get this one instead because it is so much more convenient. Having these re-usable microfiber mops are just better in the first place IMO as they can handle a much larger space than a regular swiffer pad - which means more money saved and no hassle of buying refills every month or so. I purchased the mop combo (handle/base & removable microfiber cloth) at Home Depot about a year ago. I just purchased this refill cloth so I can have the flip mop available to use at all times, not because the cloth that came with my mop was damaged or old. I actually compared my older but washed microfiber cloth to the new one and you can barely tell the difference. The white is not as white anymore & there is some lint in the velcro but the velcro is still holding strong, and there is not much (if any) damage to the cloth - I have a feeling these will last a very long time. Note: I don't have any tile or linoleum - just wood and laminate flooring so I can only speak for those.

Absorbent!

Very absorbent. I like them for big spills and mess in large areas where my Swiffer is no match. I use these on my SUV because they hold a lot of soapy water that I don't have to keep re-dunking. The roof is high on vans, SUVS, roof racks, pick-ups. With the swivel mop handle to attach, it makes quick work of washing your vehicle. It's gentle, but thorough. Just wring it out, let dry, ready for the next mess!

Less expensive mop refill that works just as good as expensive ones.

I have an expensive mop head and the O-Cedar Dual-Action Microfiber Flip Mop Refill works better. I have only used it once, but the dual head is a great idea. One side for dry and the other for wet - very easy to use. I bought one for my son.
