“Infant”?

I am new to buying kids shoes and I was looking for baby/toddler shoes to give parents to announce pregnancy and I bought two different pairs from different sellers here on Amazon. Got both in an “infant size 5” the other pair is perfect but these hiking boots came in as small child shoes like a 5 or 6 year old and that’s not what I was looking for. I seem to be the only person who misinterpreted the sizing in the reviews. Just beware these are little/big kid shoes NOT infant/toddler shoes.

I would have happily returned them for a larger size

I ordered a size 3 for my son, who wears a 2.5 in a tennis shoe. These were still too small - his big too was already rubbing. I would have happily returned them for a larger size, but it isn't available. They appear to be excellent quality for the price.

Order a full size bigger

My son is a size 4.5 new balance sneaker (age 11yrs) and a size 5 boot were too small; should have ordered a 6 or 6 1/2; they look awesome and look like good quality but won't work out for him; as soon as I got them out of the box there was no guessing that I would be returning them. :(

Great value!

These are great! Ordered on very short notice for my son's overnight Boy Scout camp. They were comfortable from the very beginning and he loves them. He said his feet were warm and dry. And I was blown away by the price. Not sure how well they will hold up, but I figure he will have outgrown them by that point.

Great hiker

I bought these for my four year old in a size 13, which is actually larger than she really wears. I wanted to be able to accommodate for wool socks and layers in the winter. They are perfect for her and she wouldn't take them off the first day that we got them. The are reasonably priced for a water proof hiking boot that is well made and sturdy

Had to pay for return, shoes are bulky

I bought a few pairs of boots over the course of a few weeks for my son. And these to me looked very big, he walked like they were huge and they seemed bulky. I decided to return them. The seller Wakestein requires you to pay for return shipping which in my opinion makes amazon not worth it. I have just now PAID for my son to only try on a pair of shoes (which aren't true to size), then drive to return them.
