My dog hates baths, but shampoo makes him smell nice!

Our dog "Chewie" has allergies so we have been trying to bath him regularly to stop the itching. We think he is allergic to grass though. Of all the things a dog can be allergic to it has to be grass! Anyways, the shampoo works pretty good to clean him and smells pretty good afterwards. He is a half Boston Terrier, half Pug. We have tried everything and he still itches his eyes and chews on his paws. It must be a pug thing. The next step is getting allergy shots, which can sometimes be fatal. Overall this shampoo has helped us keep him clean without making him more irritated. I wish it would have soothed some of his itching more, but it at least doesn't make him worse or dry him out. This is probably a good shampoo just to get for your dog even if it doesn't have allergies. It's better for their skin.

Solid animal care product, highly recommend giving it a try.

I had been trying a few different shampoos until I stumbled across this product. I have a mostly black American Staffordshire/Lab mix and his coat looks amazing. I bathe him about twice a week due to living in the desert and he glistens in the sun after each bath, not to mention his coat is smooth and far more moisturized than with most other products. The shampoo not only does wonders for cleaning it doesn't seem to leave trace residue like other products I've tried, some being oil based and others "natural soap" type formulas. I also have peace of mind knowing that this product is free of excess chemicals and has never seemed to bother my dog. All-in-all great animal care product, I highly recommend giving this a try.

Great Product!

This is by far the most effective dog shampoo! My 13 yr old Lhasa Apso has terrible dermatitis! As soon as she gets off of her current itch product! We give her a bath every week and it has def helped! I’m on my 2nd bottle since Feb. I’m in fla and it’s hot and muggy. She has no problem in this area.! Not much more I can say except I don’t want to ever be wo this shampoo! and it’s low lather so it’s easier to rinse out! Great size too! It’s my new go to!!

Has a real nice smell and suds up well.

I'm not sure that it's working to stop her itching because the shampoo is topical really. I believe that she has an allergy and that itch comes from within. I do like the smell and it's good and sudsy. That she is being good during the bath is a miracle because she's had 4 baths in the last couple weeks and three in the prior 9+ years!!

Great shampoo but didn't get rid of all the itch.

A great shampoo for my dog. Although she doesn't like getting baths, she was happy when it was all done. The only thing is that it didn't get rid of all the itch. But it did actually get rid of a majority of the itching she was having. Perhaps I must give it a few tries or it could be something else in regards to why she is itching here and there still. Nonetheless a great product and smells great.
