Fun little plinked

Curve feature is a little gimmicky

These nurf guns are so fun! This one is a little gimmicky with curve feature and the aiming system is worse than other nerf guns but then again it’s a nurf gun and I use it to play with my nephews so “poor accuracy” may be a plus. Also make sure you shoot this at a wall before playing these are way stronger than you think

My husband's new favorite

My husband and son received this as a gift for Christmas and they really enjoy these guns. My husband commented it was the most accurate Nerf gun he has ever used.

Solid Fun. Mind the Price.

I'm quite happy with the purchase. Rival blasters are pretty fun for higher-intensity gameplay, and I think the Sideswipe is a solid blaster for that. The curve-shot gimmick is pretty fun, and you can get some mileage out of watching the rounds twist a bit or suddenly spike downward (in theory, you might also be able to tag an opponent hiding behind a wall in a game). Its performance is in line with other Rival blasters. It holds 12 rounds - not as efficient as a Perses, a Nemesis, or even an Artemis, but I think its capacity and performance are reasonable for its price (and for what it is, it's pretty solid - altogether pretty lightweight, and I really like the form factor of the Sideswipe). While its retail price usually hovers around the $25 mark, and you aren't getting a "bad" deal at that price, I'd still have to recommend keeping an eye out for sales. Its price sometimes falls to about $13; I purchased mine over the holidays at about $9.

Fun for older kids

I got this for my 11-year-old nephew. That's the age where they want to play with nerf toys, but maybe they want something one level up. This was a fun alternative for the older kids (It says 14 and up on the box), and the balls go really far and hard. He took it out immediately to test it out. I would recommend getting more balls which I didn't do.

Propensity to jam

I painted mine for extra cool points. It has a tendency to jam during rapid fire so I wouldn't bet your life on it. I am not sure if this is a design flaw OR I simply put it back together wrong ????

Mucha diversión garantizada

Es un modelo más a la colección de la familia Nerf, funciona muy bien aunque hay que tener fuerza para usar la palanca de recarga. La recomiendo para mayores de 8 años. Hay 2 presentaciones: caja de regalo (mejor presentación, sirve para regalo) y caja de embalaje únicamente con la pistola. Si no la vas a regalar recomiendo la opción de caja de embalaje, es un gran ahorro!! Recomendable!!
