Perfect!

As a single woman I’m not always sure how easy a project will be when I start it, but this was a piece of cake! The instructions were not super helpful, but if you are somewhat handy and have done this type of thing before, you’ll have no problem. The track is very smooth and straight, and the only thing I’m mad about is that I didn’t order it sooner. I only deducted the one star due to the lack of instructions.

Didn’t work for me

My bi-fold doors are old and when I took them out for installing new carpet, I discovered they needed new hardware. I decided to give this kit a try because it had everything including a knob. My doors' knobs need replacing but I can live with it. Here are the reasons I'm sending it back: 1) The knob is tiny. It's more like a drawer knob than a closet knob. 2) The track is steel whereas my present track is aluminum and in my opinion is easier to bend because it's thinner material. The screw holes are perfect for 36" and can be cut down to any size between 29-34". The screw holes are at 35" and 28" measuring from the pivot end. My opening is right at 28" so not only do I need to cut the track, I need to drill a screw hole for the far end. 3) The instructions for installing the pivots which fit into the door say to drill a hole 7/16". My current pivots are about 3/8" which means I have to drill bigger holes. I was hesitant to do this because if I ever needed to replace this in the future, I couldn't make the holes smaller. So in all, cutting and drilling were more than I wanted to do, plus the knob is useless.

Just what I needed (plus more)

Bought this to replace track and hanging system for already assembled doors, so I didn’t need all of the parts this set came with. Had to trim track because my door is 30 inches, but I knew that when I purchased. Fairly easy to trim, easy to install, and my door was hung quickly and slides easily.

Excellent Product

This bifold door track kit contains everything needed to install 1 bifold door and is excellent quality since the track is made of steel as well as the bottom hinge plate. Instructions are well written too.

Perfect for my application

Old sliding door closet in my place had pretty much had it regarding the sliding hardware. Got this, and had the old stuff out and this in inside 10mins. ... Worked like a charm.

Works well on my closet

The media could not be loaded. It was easy to install. I moved to a house were the closet didn't work properly. I changed the railing and now works very nicely.

Arrived new, not used as advertised

Advertised as used, but actually was an open box. All smart parts were in fact packed as being new from factory. Manual provided. Box was new but taped. I expected used but it is new and just open box. Easy to install, fits bifold sta dard condo doors in hallway or shoes. Great proce, good quality!

Well hung door

I had a spiffy-looking bifold door hanging about, but no hardware to mount it. This package helped me get it up. It's quite well hung now.
