Great Support!

LOVE THIS!! Offers great support while nursing in bed or around the house - writing this review while using it. I love that it is really adjustable (important for me as a plus size momma). It is quiet to take off when done thanks to the snap buckle. And I really like that it has a little storage pocket - comes in handy as often my each is limited once I start nursing baby. I had the boppy with first born and hated it… this is much much better!

Love this pillow

I love this pillow, it’s so comfortable to feed, but my baby is now hating anything but a soft blanket so I have to wrap him around a. Soft blanket every time I feed him and there should be no pillows anywhere around him otherwise he won’t latch and just cries ????

Buy boppy instead.

This pillow does the basics. I like the support for baby. I like that it can clip so it’s around your back for support. I like that when clipped around your waist you can move a little with baby on boob and have the support to keep them there. However, I wish that wasn’t its only use. I would like it better if BOTH sides has a clip / Velcro adjustment so that when you’re already sitting down on a couch or recliner you don’t have to put baby down and completely readjust to get the pillow around the back / use it. Also if the back support could be separated from the front pillow, it would be easier for other people to use, such as those bottle feeding baby. I wish I bought the normal breastfeeding pillow instead.

This is the only pillow I got that would keep my baby in the perfect position without breaking my back. Would buy again. Wish I bought it sooner. Definitely worth the money.

Loud waterproof cover

Love it, except that the waterproof cover is loud crinkly vinyl. I expected something softer, like the stuff waterproof sheets are made of. But this is just a hard plastic bag, kind of like the zippered plastic that new bedding is packaged in at the store. Not comfy for baby, and loud enough to be disruptive.

First Impression Review

I will start by saying that I have not actually used this nursing pillow as baby is not here yet, it's just a first impression review based off what I can tell this far. First thing I noticed was a crinkly sound and feel when touching the pillow, so I removed the outer cover to discover the inner foam pillow had a plastic casing zipped on it. I'm not sure if this is meant to stay on as a protective cover and to make it waterproof, but I took it off because the crinkle sound and feel will definitely drive me nuts. I would rather just lay one of my waterproof diaper changing pads on top for extra protection if need be. Second thing I noticed was the chemical paint like smell. Pretty typical for foam products, and granted it as not as strong as some other pillows I have gotten, but still off putting. I guess I was hoping for better for a $70 piece of foam. At least I have time to air it out before baby comes. Third thing- the outer cover was a pain to put back on once removed. Maybe just because of the learning curve and it being my first time, but hopefully I'll get better at putting it back on. As for the good- The cover is super soft, and it seems like a good design. I like the back rest alot, although it was hard to tell how comfortable it will be wrapped around my torso as I still have a big ol bump in the way. I guess I can't judge it too harshly until I've actually used it, because if it really is a game changer and makes nursing that much easier I can overlook the flaws. Will update after I've had a chance to use.
