Easy to install, but. . .

Easy to install, but the only "mounting hardware" that is included are 2 Phillips-head wood screws (a little over 1/2-inch long) - the screw heads are painted white, but you'll likely need to re-paint them because the process of screwing them in place will wear off the finish. But if you are mounting into stone or masonry, or need an anchor insert, the provided hardware will be inadequate. My main gripe is that no installation template was included with these numbers (a template seems to be a standard feature from other manufacturers). Now you can go to Montague Metal Products website, but the 4-inch templates they provide online are actually the wrong font, so the mounting holes won't line up. On these (which I'm pretty sure are Helvetica), the mounting holes seem to be generally centered on each number, but spacing (vertical or horizontal) is still up to you. I guess that's why these are less than $9 each.

Handle with care

Be careful when hanging these numbers. The white finish is easily scratched/chipped if number if dropped or comes in contact with the screwdriver. I had to touch up a bit with some paint. They do look OK if not examined too closely.
