Difficult installation on a tile wall
The mounting system for these hooks is apparently intended to be used on a wall with sheetrock. The plastic mounting bracket uses a single Moly bolt that expands behind the drywall. It also has a metal piece with two spikes that would imbed into the drywall and prevent the hook from rotating. That doesn't work on a tile wall. The metal bracket was easy to remove. There are two holes in the mounting bracket that could be used for screws, but drilling through ceramic tile is difficult. Instead, I drilled a single hole and put double sided tape on the wall and a single plastic wall anchor to attach the mounting bracket to the wall. The hook then snaps over the bracket. The mounting issue was exacerbated because the instructions provided were inadequate. They were for mounting a towel bar, not a hook. There was no mention of how to mount the towel hook.

Moen rocks
The 5 stars is really for Moen's customer service. They shipped me an entirely new robe hook after the hardware broke during installation. So the pros - looks great, will probably hold 50 lbs of weight, fairly easy.to install for just about anyone. The cons - the mounting hardware/system is pretty awful. This is not your standard allen head screw fastener from the bottom mounting system. When I opened the box I was pretty disappointed with the provided hardware, especially considering I had to screw into a stud because of the layout of my bathroom. Rather than use the crappy machine screws provided by Moen I decided to use a 1.5" #10 to make sure I didn't strip the screw. Joke was on me because the plastic mounting piece shattered when I was screwing the screw into the wall/stud. Luckily Moen replaced the whole system (which does me no good without another set of mounting hardware) so I got a second shot at it. The second time I drilled the center hole out a little bit more and voila, the #10 screw worked like a charm. Looks great and Moen rocks, even if their mounting hardware is pretty lame.

This was a perfect match for the hook I replaced. Easy to install and is holding up great.

Can't Catch a Fish
This hook looks beefy and nice. More show than go. Unless your robe has a hanging loop, this hook won't hold garments or towels very well. Too large in diameter and too smooth. Looks over function. Not sure about Moen's new mounting method yet either. Easier than the metal base and allen screw mount of old, but the snap on plastic mount does not give a strong sense of security. Love all the other Moen accessories in this lineup.

Love the look
The design is exactly what we wanted. Chrome has some blemishes. A little concerned about the hooks being too smooth for towels. All in all, happy so far

The click and hold system can be improved upon.
This is a beautiful bathrobe hook and the metal piece is well finished and chromed beautifully. The outer visible piece looks like modern artwork sculpture. But in the company's effort to make this a super easy installation with just a 1/4" screw and driver, the mechanics of this piece lacks strength, and sometimes can actually fall off and break your hard floor as the metal piece is quite heavy (unless you have carpet below, then which is fine). What holds this hook and the wall is simply a click system made of grey colored plastic. And as you know, plastic can deteriorate with time and sometimes one might hang more than just a bathrobe. I think this design with a metal base and a screw to hold system would render a solid 5 star item in this case.

High quality, looks nice, not a fan of the mounting system.
The mounting system these use is different than almost everything else out there. It is basically a big round piece of plastic with a lag bolt in the middle and some metal fins that cut into the drywall. While they claim this system is supposed to be better and easier I personally would rather just do things the usual way with an anchor and a set screw.
