Even Heating, Thick Bottom, Beautiful Coating

This pot has been incredible to work with. From sauces and reductions to pasta and eggs, it does a great job doing exactly what you want and need it to. The thick bottom helps prevent over-cooking or scorching, the non stick coating makes clean up incredibly easy, and it is beautiful to look at. I love the even heating ability this has because so many pots lack that important quality. I was able to do multiple cheese sauces without a single discoloration, and slow soft scrambled eggs turn out perfect. This is an incredible value for the quality you receive and I am happy to have it in my cabinets. Would make a great gift for the home chef in your life.

Merten & Storck European Crafted Steel Core Enameled Cookware

This is an exceptionally attractive yet functional pot!! I can't find one thing to complain about. It heats up evenly, cooks quickly and clean up is soap and water easy. The 2.1 quart size is a good size for two people or one with leftovers. I use a gas range but this pot is oven save up to 450 degrees. One can cook in it then simply sit it on a trivet for dinner. It is that attractive. This brand is from Germany and is new to me but not for long. Based on my experience so far, I will be adding other pots to my collection. The pot itself is heavy and the glass lid is an asset. It fits perfectly into the rim and one can watch dinner cook. Once empty, clean up is a breeze. I never put quality cookware in the dishwasher as pots like this are meant to last a lifetime and caring for it properly is one of the reasons they do last. I cook so I love quality cookware and this pot rates right up there with the best of them. This pot will sit out on the stove in between uses--I'm not too proud to be a show off. IMO this cookware is so worth the price and your heirs will think so too.

amazing cooking and looking

I am in love with this cookware. Heavy, well-made, well-designed, gorgeous, and they heat nicely and evenly. The clean-up is a breeze...did I mention they look great? I have been using this saucepan/pot for a month now and I cannot find anything I don't like about it. It is better than my other pots in every way; although the extra weight may be of consideration if you are elderly or with limited mobility. Goodbye stainless, goodbye non-stick, hello Merten & Storck enameled steel! A joy to cook with!

Love this saucepan!????❤️

Steel core, enameled, made in Germany by a company established in 1873, beautiful. When you pick up this saucepan, you know something’s different. It’s heavy. The lid fits in a way that is somehow better than any I’ve ever had. When cooking on my gas range, I often have a problem with the pan wall sides getting hotter than the other parts of the pot. If I don’t often stir, things may burn. This pan heats evenly. I love that. The handle and lid knob don’t get hot either. This is now my go to saucepan. It’s pretty expensive, but I expect that it will last me forever.

Gorgeous Ombré Color - Extremely Nice Quality!

What a treat to have such a gorgeous sauce pan , the beautiful ombré of black at the base transforming into a gorgeous blue color , coupled with the stainless is superb! This is the perfect sized sauce pan. Anyone would be able to use this. It’s very nice it’s a statement piece of functional art in your kitchen, it looks impressive and it heats your dishes evenly , it is easy to clean up with a wipe down interior that nothing sticks too .. The lid and handle are company branded and everything about this is extraordinary..upscale and stylish.. The lid as well as the pan can withstand up to 440* in the oven , so you don’t have to transfer your dish , just remember to wear oven gloves ,when doing this. ????

Looks good enough to leave on stove top

This is a good all-purpose saucepan. It is solid, and though I haven’t pushed my luck — I doubt it will warp. The handles are metal, and since I have a gas stove — no worries about them melting or getting scorched. The lid fits well, and I like that it is glass, surprisingly. Also, the enameled color looks very good, reminds me of a Staub or LaCrueset. Ileft It out on top of my gas range; it looks good, cooks smoothly — no hot spots.
