Not worth the price you pay.

Purchased January 2013. They are starting to rust now and one cracked at the weld by the water freezing.

It does what it's supposed to do

I've had mine for several years and used it many times. It's still intact and the only issue I have is a little rust near the welds. The instructions did say not to overfill the cylinder since water expands when frozen. I have overfilled mine before and it just leaked into the freezer but I have had no issue with the welds. When in use, water will drip as the ice melts - but that can be a plus - just protect anything you don't want to get wet.

Works good.

Works real good at leaving you stranded but not so that you are stuck for a reallly long time in it.

Ice Lock Breaks, Product is No Good

Bought two (2) ice locks. One (1) cracked and broke after freezing first water sample. Will never buy anything along this line from this seller again. Horrible product, very disappointing.

Great idea and size. Poor construction

The cylinder is made up of two welded pieces. It popped two of the welds the first time it was frozen.

Too expensive

For the money.....Just buy a paddle lock with a key and put the key in a cup of water and freeze it. This thing looks like a good idea that needs refinement and lower price.
