A must have for winter travel in the carrier

My current car has a very limited number of infant carriers they would fit properly. He was born in the dead of winter, although it wasn’t as cold this year as it has been in the past. This thing is incredibly warm. I put my arm in it and closed it up, and my arm was instantly hot. So when we have our son out and about, there is no chance of his body feeling any sort of coldness. It installs fairly easy, and is sized for infants perfectly. The way it closes up allows you to make sure it’s nice and snug, no matter the size, from newborn up to the time they are ready to switch to a non carrier.

It took a while to figure out how to properly attach this footmuff because it arrived without any instructions. Mind you this is not something you have alot of patience for when you are 8 months pregnant. I even searched the web for videos or guides but I couldn't find any. My advice would be to attach in advance of your trip to the hospital. I was happy with the purchase; it keeps that baby warm in NY's winter months and the material is durable and soft. If are looking for luxury or something really plush however, would look elsewhere for a footmuff with shearling lining. I bought the footmuff to coordinate with my car seat, but it is not as plush as I had hoped.
