Awesome. Well worth the money

Fits me perfect. Bought these for after eye surgery to fit right to my head and to conform to my face. They block all extra light from the sides since the arms are wider. No light leakes around the lenses. Couldnt have fit any better. Well made. This is my 3rd pair of Maui Jim sunglasses. LOVE THEM !!!

The sunglasses were good enough for me to keep

I suppose that I have a wider face than a bunch of other people who have ordered these sunglasses. They are slightly too narrow for my face, but I didn't want to send the sunglasses back. They're really cool looking, and so I don't mind too much.

These sunglasses are the best I have ever had, and, of course, I have gone through many, many, many in the course of many years. The glass itself is a marvel -- the vision is so clear, it almost seems as if I have on my prescription glasses. These glasses fit me perfectly, and I love the way they cover my eyes so that wind, dust, etc. cannot get in my eyes. I have used these glasses at the beach with extremely bright sunlight, and they have been perfect. The glass prohibits brightness from the sun's rays, but it is not a dark glass so vision remains clear. I rarely write reviews, but I am happy to do so for these sunglasses. Yes, they are expensive, but they are worth every penny.

Maui Jim is the best

This is maybe my 5th or 6th pair of Maui Jims. I love the wrap around style of these glasses. We have a convertible and they protect my eyes when we're driving with the top down. I bought the blue and the tint is slightly lighter than the other shades. They are great for driving and allow me to drive longer at dusk and in lower light. They are extremely scratch resistant and hold up to years of use. I still wear some of my first pairs. Had a pair stolen and have misplaced another pair or I'd still have them. Yes, you pay more, but they are so worth it.

Not as described!

I was really excited about these. I have a pair of MJ Makahas with neutral grey lenses that I’ve had for years but I wanted something more durable and that had more eye coverage. These wrap style Barrier Reefs looked like they’d fit the bill. They are the size I was looking for, are comfortable on my face, and are very well made. But the lenses are definitely not as described. The representative from MJ assured me that these “Blue Hawaii” lenses were neutral grey. They are not. In one of my pictures you can see the difference between my Makahas (neutral grey) and these Barrier Reefs (definitely not neutral grey). They’re more like Ray Ban’s tortoise green lens. Secondly, the middle of the lenses are one color and fade to an orangey color as you go to the edges. It’s subtle but it’s the first thing I noticed when I put them on and looked around. The tint of everything you look at is constantly changing from blue to orange as you move your head. It’s weird. I’m returning these

Worth the money

Maui Jim are impeccable sunglasses. I’ve owned 4 over the years and can remember each and every one . Unfortunately 2 were stolen. Bear in mind this is a highly stealable item and be rigorous in protecting your investment. Never leave them in your vehicle unattended . This is a wonderful pair of sunglasses but my least favourite of all I have owned. They just don’t suit me, not their fault. I wish I had gone with the aviator style. Once you try Maui Jim, you measure all sunglasses by their standards.

Amazing as usual

Maui Jim are an amazing brand, i have had sunglasses from a few big name brands and they don’t compare to Maui Jim well worth the money.
