Looks great. Not super warm.

This jacket is pretty good overall. It's not the warmest jacket, and when worn in air between 30-40F with some breeze, I can feel how breathable the jacket really is (which is a good thing in warmer conditions when you're really looking for more of a rain-proof jacket rather than warmth) That said, this jacket doesn't advertise itself as your go-to frigid winter jacket - it's a stylish, waterproof(ish), windbreaker/outer shell. I'd hesitate to wear this jacket as your primary warming layer below 30F or so. For that purpose, it serves just fine (since I live in Houston anyway and, let's face it, get more rain than cold here.) I have an aging similar Colombia jacket that still breathes, perhaps not as well as this one, but is notably warmer in the cold. Looks wise, it's great. Looks sharp enough to wear to work with a collared shirt underneath. I'm 6'4 and about 230lbs and the XL fits great - I'm glad it's actually long enough for my arms and my torso.

Just as heavy as my 3 layer shell,

Same weight as my shell, with out 2 pit zips. Rubbery feeling inner. No water resistant zippers… slightly smaller fit compared to other marmot products

It Does What It's Supposed to Do

Well, it's a very basic raincoat; it keeps the rain and wind off very well, and it's durable and looks decent. It's not breathable at all, though (which I knew when I bought it), so if you're going to exert yourself in somewhat warm weather, you're basically left with the classic choice: get wet from the the outside, or get wet from the inside. For winter activities, it works quite well in combination with a fleece or fiberfill interior layer. I use this raincoat for bicycle commuting in the Pacific Northwest, and it does what I need it to do. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a breast pocket, which annoys me more than it probably should.

Beautiful rain jacket and well made.

I own a Marmot rain jacket and it has always provided exceptional service as a rain jacket in bad weather. This jacket was bought for a friend and I selected this color as an alternate from the same old black ! The color is exceptionally handsome and the entire jacket is well made. As a light spring or fall jacket even if not raining, it would be acceptable also. By the way, they are water proof of course !

It is very comfortable for rain and does not get wet, but it soars very much if there is no rain. Perhaps this is how it should be in this type of jacket.

6'4" 220 lbs XL arms length

I struggle to find large/xl sizes that fit my arm length (38"). The XL arm length goes all the way down to where my thumb attaches to the hand. Extremely impressed with that. The body size is too large but for me I would rather have a larger fitting jacket if the arm length is long enough.

Poor Size Chart

I am 5 ft 9 175 lbs - my other 2 jackets are Med. size -HH & a NF Nice jacket but has a poor size chart -ordered a med. sleeve length was perfect -shoulder to waistline perfect - No reference to a " Slim or Skinny Cut" arms are tight from shoulder down -zipped it up could barley move. So if I weighed 140 Lbs -probably OK

Ich habe die „Marmot wasserdichte Regenjacke (Black, S)“ gekauft. Ich fahre mit einem E-Bike zur Arbeit. Die Temperatur am Morgen im Sommer bei mir ist gegen 15 Grad. Beim Regen mit Wind ist ein Poncho nicht sicher. „Marmot EVODry & Marmot Membrain“ ist nach meiner Meinung besser die „Marmot NanoPro“. Das Gewicht ist sehr leicht und sehr dünn! Größ S ist 338 g, was weicht von der Beschreibung ab. Aber die Qualität ist sehr schön! Die wasserdichte Leistung und die Atmungsaktivität sind beide exzellent. Das Material lohnt sich mit dem Preis. Ich bin 172cm groß und die Größe S passt mir sehr gut. Sie ist angenehm zu tragen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Einkauf!
