Very nice but not really 4x6

The frame is very nice. Elegant looking. The quality and everything is acceptable. However, they sell it as if it is for 4x6 pictures but it's really not. If you have close up pictures or too close to the edge, have in mind that you will have to cut about 0.75" both vertically and horizontally in order for them to fit in the windows, so part of the images will probably be cut off.

Nice quality, excellent as a gift option.

I purchased this as a gift for my friend and she loved it. The picture quality is clear and the wood finish gives a nice accent to the overall collection. Installation is a relatively simple process if you are patient. The back can be removed easily, from which you have access to the inside of the glass. There was not, however, insets where one could place their desired picture - you will have to manually line it up on the glass pane and hope it doesn't come out crooked when you reapply the back. This should not be much of an issue, however, if you are installing all five pictures at the same time. This is a great gift idea, and I recommend it if you're looking for a high-capacity picture frame in wonderful quality.

Easel support is terrible

I bought this frame because it had the configuration of photos that I needed, and it had the easel support to stand, as well as hang on a wall. The easel stand is terrible. It's weak and does not support the frame well. I bought it with the intention to display on a table, but I didn't feel as if it was sturdy enough to do that. I like the black frame though, so I have hung it on a wall instead. The "turn buttons" do work very well, and it was easy to insert the pictures. It came wrapped in bubble wrap and was delivered within a few days, so I was happy with that. If you are buying this frame because it can stand to display your pictures, keep looking. If you plan to hang this frame, everything else is fine.

Glass or Plastic?

I like this frame and originally bought it because it has glass panes instead of plastic. Which is fine but I have also recently purchased some frames that had high quality plastic panes and I actually like the plastic better. The glass is typical brittle frame glass that needs to be removed and cleaned the first time you use it and the frame is colored wood that has a nice even tone and looks great. I found a similar frame at target for a similar price that had plastic panes and like it better. It wasn't that cheap flimsy plastic. It was thick and sturdy like glass and had a slight matte appearance instead of glossy glass.
