Ordered on a whim, now it's become a laundry staple

At first when I saw this, I don't know what I thought. I honestly thought it was some way to capitalize on COVID, honestly. I'm sure it existed before that, but had not heard of it before. I was like... are we really sanitizing our laundry now??? LOL BUT - let me tell you... any funk smell that's clinging to your clothes from past issues - This will get rid of those lingering smells. For example, if you wash towels and leave them sitting in the washer overnight because you forgot to switch them over to the dryer before bed.... they smell sour no matter how freshly washed they are. They might smell clean until you go to dry yourself off again and the towel absorbs some moisture. As soon as it's damp, that sour smell is back. It's just really gross. I don't know how many towels that have becoming cleaning rags because of this issue. Now I put some of this sanitizer in one of those Downey fabric softener balls and another ball with my softener. My clothes are always fresh and clean now with no lingering stenches. I subscribed and have 2 of these sitting on my laundry room shelf. I encourage you to try it at least once.

I love this product but it’s not very affordable

Per the instructions - which I was not aware of until the bottle arrived to me and I went to go use it for the first time - you have to use like 1.5-2 capfuls for one load of laundry! I think that’s ridiculous considering how small the bottle is and how much it costs. I will probably buy it again but I’ll probably use less per load than what the bottle recommends because I think that would still get the job done and would save me money. I like that the product doesn’t smell overwhelmingly strong like bleach and doesn’t leave a strong odor on the clothes either. It does definitely have an odor though when you open the bottle but it’s just enough to make feel like it’s going to sanitize the laundry. You can also smell a slight odor of it when you open the washing machine after the load of wash is done and the garments are wet/damp, but it doesn’t remain when the clothes have dried. Additionally, I have sensitive skin. My skin does not tolerate scented lotions well, some scented detergents make me itchy, and sometimes I just can’t tolerate perfumes in laundry products and it sets off my allergic rhinitis symptoms (coughing, sneezing, itchy eyes). I did not find using this product on my towels or clothes to cause any negative reactions with my skin or my allergies.

I love this stuff

I use it in every wash. Great for sheets towles and under clothes. Smells fresh and works great. Some people wrote that It fails to bleach the laundry. It is not a bleach or whitener it sanitizes the clothes. Killing odors and bacteria.

Excellent for odors

I know many state that this product is not necessary. There is even a class action lawsuit (in which I hope the plaintiffs do not prevail because I love this product). I don't know if it kills COVID but it's a miracle on stinky shoes. I used to wash my husband's and son's smelly shoes in detergent and dry them thoroughly. They would smell good again, for a few days, then the stink was back. Now I pour some of this down in the shoes (it's good that it has the viscosity of water because it penetrates all the seams) and let is sit for 20 minutes. Then I put some in the fabric softener dispenser and wash them with detergent. It takes months for the odor to return. Also, if you use this on a load and forget to move it to the dryer, it will never sour like detergent only laundered items will. It's great stuff.

Where have you been all my life

Just order. Plain and simple. This stuff is the real deal. I have a toddler 7 dogs reptiles and my bf is a horse Farrier so he smells of the worst parts of horses. Just 1 capful of this (even though the directions call for 2, 1 works amazing for clothes, we use 2 for bedding) makes them smell so clean. I hate the fake clean smell where you know clothes aren't actually clean and it's just all the perfumes and stuff they add in. This is the opposite. They smell legit clean and it is great at making the colors and white look brand new. So worth it. Start with 1 cap so worth it

Best stuff ever! I add this to every load of wash now. Removes odors so well! Helps with stinky exercise clothes. Consistency of it is very liquidy, which is nice because it doesn’t clog up my washer. 10/10 recommend to everyone

I believe in Lysol-

I don't understand why the detergents that we have been buying all this time to clean our clothes can't also disinfect them. Why do we now have to buy an additional product for assuring they are disinfected? Can't the detergent companies see to it that the one product does the complete job? Other than that, I now believe that I need to use a separate disinfectant for peace of mind and I have been using this Lysol for some time and feel better about the level of clean of my laundry.

Very effective.

I had tried both methods, using in the beginning of the wash cycle; adding in the rinse cycle. The latter method is more effective for me. It removes odour and refresh the sports laundry.
