I read all the reviews and a few said that these Lipsmackers burned their lips. I was hesitant but wanted to try flavored lip balm and this was a brand a remembered from my childhood. (Plus I like the smell of Chapstick brand but the taste is awful to me). So I took a chance and learned a little more after getting them. 1st thing was the smell and taste is awesome and spot on! It's like a lingering taste of crisp Coca-Cola on your lips, the fruit ones are on pointe as well. I found myself constantly smacking my lips (hence the name! lol) as it was a neat surprise that the flavor and smell stays longer than 5 minutes. Well one night after using them and smacking my lips all day, I had settled down to watch a movie. Then my upper lip started tingling. At first I was thinking that they were right, it does have a slight tingling sensation, then I realized that I'd been licking at my lips all day, and sat down to a bowl of salty popcorn. My lips were extra sensitive from playing with them all day with the Lipsmackers and the salt cause a slight irritation! Later on, no more tingling, and that's only because I had made my own lips tender by going overboard being amazed at how much they tasted like the soda they represented. My lips have been smoother and I have cut down on licking my lips all day when I use this balm! I'm glad I tried, and now I realize that the people said it was "burny" might just have done the same thing I did, licked their lips like crazy then had some salt or vinegar, some food substance that caused a little irritation. ***At least for me, I know it was my own fault and not the Lipsmackers!*** In the future, I would definitely get these again! I'm saying bye-bye to my long history of being chained to Chapstick and back to where I was when I was a kid, the world of yummy tasting Lipsmackers! :D (My favorites are the Coca-Cola, Fanta Strawberry and Root Beer: You'll be amazed at how much they smell and taste like the soda they represent!)

Good deal for fun non food presents
Arrived neatly in its packaged and was right on time. I got a deal on it when I bought it so the price was right too. And, the double plus is superhero’s are beloved and any kid needs a chapstick. Instead of say, a candy.

I used to get these when I was young had not seen them in years. I am now 56 years old and I purchased this set and I love them so far my favorite is the Cherry Coke and gives you the tiniest bit of color and smooth coverage. Keep them in my pocket at work for when I need it and don't have my handbag. I also love the root beer one they smell just like the product they are representing and are so convenient. I keep one in my car I have one in my handbag and I keep one on my person. Will definitely purchase again. Totally worth the money.

Taste as same as soda
My kids love these. They said these lip balms just taste as same as the soda and I could smell the flavors after they put the lip balm on.

I love this product!
I have been buying Bonne Bell Lip Smackers for over 30 years. This product is excellent. I love all the flavours. It does not rub off quickly like some other products do. I find it's the best for chapped lips in the winter months and protection (mind you, not UV protection) in the summer. Great product and I will continue to purchase it!

Nostalgic but definitely not the same quality as before. Doesn't smell like the soda
I was so excited for these that I bought one for myself and one for the nieces! These definitely doesn't smell as strong or good as they used to and it was quite disappointing. Scent: The worst two smells were coca cola original and sprite, it was faint and sprite didn't smell like anything. Everything else had a strong smell, but did everything smell like the soda....no. 1 star docked. Moisturizing: definitely moisturizing this was the saying grace! My lips fell coverage for hours! It was a little water resistant, I applied it before I showered and I still had it on after. Taste: let's be honest, we all somehow eat a little bit or taste it. It's not pleasant, I didn't expect it to be but it does taste like chemicals. Half a star docked. Texture: first time using it, the top is a little harder. Similar to if you left it uncapped or using an older lipchap. But after the first few layers have been applied, it glides on smoothly. Value: I got them at a discount but they were still over $1 a pop. For the quality, it's not worth it. Half a star docked. These were nostalgic and brought back a lot of memories, but they're not the same as the old ones. Lip Smackers used to be the brand I used for years (when I was little). I'm not sure if I should still give it to my nieces because they're just not that good...

Agradable descubrimiento
He probado muchísimas marcas con el objetivo de encontrar una alternativa a mi favorita, EOS, que ya tiene un par de años con poca disponibilidad en el mercado. Casi ningún bálsamo me convencía en cuestiones de humectación, sabor y consistencia hasta que opté por este producto. Me parece que sí alcanza el nivel esperado, además del buen precio y un envase creativo (igual que el de las crayolas). Definitivamente me animaré a comprar otras presentaciones de Lip Smacker.
