This is a nice piece

Material was my greatest concern, I was not disappointed, the material is strong & sturdy, I can build furniture but I wanted to get something ready made that was better than what I can do. This one fill all expectation. I recommend the furniture, just be prepare to assemble the unit. With patient you can do it, once completed you will love it. Great!

Annoyed

I disliked that the two drawers come out. Only a tiny piece of wood to hold. No side brackets. Draws move side to side and hang, you need to be careful the draw doesn't fall on your foot or or floor. Hazard.

Divider is the wrong size

I thought I was getting a pretty little cabinet for my front nook of the stairs. However because of my num-nutness I put the bottom upside down so the D divider was short. Once I fixed that it worked much better. Also make sure you do not over tighten or the wood will split. It does mar easily, but since I have critters I decided to cover the top with a towel to keep clean and keep it from being dinged.

Hard to Assemble

This was a bit difficult to put together, especially when adding the hinges to the doors and putting the doors on the unit. I stripped a couple of the provided screws because they did not match up to the pre drilled holes. After a good amount of time it took to assemble, the cabinet is sturdy and a nice addition to my living room.

Be careful don’t over tighten the bolts

I wood used seems quite solid. But please know (as I believe others have said) there is an oder - hopefully the smell will go away. They note in the instructions several times - do no over tighten your bolts ( Sadly I feel I may have ). In putting it together I was doing pretty good .... till I got to the door. Ooops ... they did not have any predrilled holes or any marking I could see om the inside of the cabinet for the hinges. (Manufacturer if your reading- holes are not absolutely needed, but maybe just some black marks where the screws need to go .... because omg hanging doors is very difficult.... atleast for me and I have done it a few times. (My husband rescued me and got the doors hung). Overall the cabinet seems good and study - good value for the price.

Beautiful cabinet, but has its problems

This cabinet is gorgeous, but it has its problems. The first one I got didn't have a pre-drilled hole on one of the doors for the pull. Second cabinet had big problems with the doors and them going on evenly. This was my worst nightmare. They need to make the door assembly easier somehow. Amazon is awesome and made it right, but what a disaster.

I bought it because it matched

I bought it because it matched my coffee table. It arrived in 5 days, well packaged with all its parts and hardware. It’s easy to assemble until the hinges on the doors and cabinet ( I suggest 2 people at that point). Use a soft surface the pine wood is easily scratched and dents. And the fingerprint problem is real! It’s a good size for small spaces. Do understand the color “ hickory brown “ is really espresso. I paid $260 free shipping. Weigh the pros and cons before you purchase.

The cabinet was all we hoped it would be!

The cabinet looks great and has a nice balance between shelves and drawers. The purpose of the cabinet was for putting a combination record player, CD player, cassette player and radio on top, and using the storage space for records and the drawers for headphones and other items. It worked out very well for our needs.

Size of the product

Size is very small compared to the pictures, finish is nice but storage space is not great. Overall looks good in kitchen, can be used to store smaller items like bowls, mugs, cups, and some other kitchen stuff. I use the top of the cabinet to keep a fruit basket
