Tighter than relaxed fit should be

Not the same relaxed fit as I am used to. Was not a fan of that. They do seem like nice made pants and the waist fit was true to size. Just much tighter in the thigh than I am comfortable wearing.

What can I say, I love these Lee 100% cotton jeans! They are so comfortable fit perfectly, wash nicely, They are my go to jeans! Will definitely purchase again!

Not stretchy

The material is quality but not stretchy. Because of this, the waist did not fit comfortably. I could button it but it was too tight to sit down. The rest of the fit is comfortable. If you want the Areo style, buy 1 or 2 sizes bigger. I am keeping the jeans because I always think I can lose weight and fit the smaller size I got when buying online. I am a delusional optimist.

Be careful of the fabric content

I’ve ordered this style through 50 lbs of weight loss; getting the next size smaller as the current pairs got too big. I just received the aero color not realizing that the fabric content is not the same in all colors. The aero color is 100% all cotton. Ugh! Fit everywhere except my gut. No stretch anywhere! My current pair of meridian color fit fine; they have some stretch to them. These are going back. I’m selecting a pair with some give in the gut. Just verify the fabric content is what you want before you buy!

Good all cotton work wear choice

I like all cotton jeans for working outside in hot weather. The length of these jeans fit me as I expected (I am about 5'6"). In the hips and waist the fit was snug. I typically wear a womens plus size 18 regular, not short or tall. If I were planning to wear extra layers underneath the jeans, I would need a size 20. I am wearing these jeans before washing them and also I do not dry them in the dryer in order to avoid shrinkage. I purchased this exact same style of Lee jeans about a year ago and I ordered the same size which still fits me well. I am ok with the feel and durability of the fabric and I expect these jeans to stand up to the demands of farm work. An interesting note about color: I ordered 2 different colors, Aero and Livia. There are different numbers on the sewn in tags which I assume indicate different colors. However the jeans appear to be the same color. They are a medium to darker color of jeans. This does not bother me, I actually like darker colored jeans, but if the color of the jeans fabric is important, then you may be disappointed in what you receive. Update after ordering 2 pair in size 20 Womens. These jeans in size 20 Womens fit as I expected; I can wear a warm layer under the jeans. Again, I ordered a pair in each color: Livia and Aero. This time there is a difference in color. One is medium and the other is a little darker. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase.

POCKETS THAT WORK

I've got several old pairs of size 22 jeans that are falling off me, several newer pairs of size 18 jeans that fit nicely (thanks to the fabric having some elasticity). When I found the Lee jeans, which are 100% cotton, I guessed I'd need a size larger based on other comments, so I went with size 20. Overall they fit quite well. The main issue I have with the fit is the waist, which is a bit snug compared with the rest of the garment. Not intolerable, by any means, but something to consider. If you are sensitive to any constriction, you might order a size up. The pockets are nice and deep. Far too many women's slacks and jeans are built with intolerably small pockets. One pair I looked at in a store recently had "pockets" that were so shallow I wouldn't dare carry even a coin or two in them; they literally barely covered my fingertips. Most other pairs aren't THAT extreme but wouldn't be something I'd want to try to use for a phone or a wallet. Yeah, I'm the one in the store looking at pants and testing my phone in the pocket before I even take them off the rack. NOT an issue with the Lee jeans. Other commenters had noticed the same thing, which was the single most important reason I purchased these. Durability: These are not flimsy. The fabric is heavy. Mine are new enough that I can't vouch that they'll last "forever", but I would expect they'll hold up to several years of near-daily usage.

Not designed for hourglass figures

These are nice sturdy jeans, and I’m sure many people will like them. They don’t fit my figure particularly well. I have very large hips and thighs, but I have a much smaller waist. These fit me nicely through the hip and thigh, but absolutely gape at the waist. Impossible to wear them without doing sewing alterations to take in the waist. They’re also a tad long especially for the petite/short size. Also, there is absolutely no stretch to them (my fault for not reading carefully enough), so they are not very flexible and less comfortable than I would like.

No stretch

The waist fits well and it is a wide leg, but there is no stretch in the fabric so movement is slightly restricted. Most denim will stretch a bit with wear, but right now the fabric is too thick to wear in the hot weather.

Okay jean, but not great fit.

Love the material (100% cotton), but the "relaxed" fit is a bit too relaxed. We used to call this a "baggy" fit. Would prefer they were a bit slimmer through the hips and thighs.

Unhappy with this purchase due to inaccurate sizing.

These jeans are definitely not true to size. I ordered them two sizes larger than my usual pant size just in case they ran a bit small but I could barely put them on, let alone do them up. Very disappointed.
