Easy entry

I bought this for our office door after my brother forgot his keys several times. I carry a key but thought this would be easier for him. Had a friend install it but it must line up well with the door jamb groove or it won't be able to open. (Old door with many a lock change) We got the setup done but will be reinstalling the unit for a cleaner fit. Love the ease of a code entry and at a good value.

Love it

Came in on time. It was easy to install and works great. I need the slim fit so the storm door handle would not rub on it and close right. Looks nice also. Very happy with this lock.

It’s better than expected

It is nice for the price. It does not have a backlight so it’s kinda hard when I walk up to the door. The keys light up when I push them. It also does not have an exterior lock button, so if I don’t set up the auto lock idk how to lock the door. Maybe I just haven’t learned about it yet. It also only came with one door key.

The best price for an electronic deadbolt lock

This is our favorite lock, but after eight months we did come across an issue. About 80% of the time, the lock now does not lock with the button hold feature; it just beeps at us about 10 times, even when the door is open. Thankfully we made a copy of the single key they gave us and have been using that as a backup (or main, given how often this happens) to the amazing code feature. I'm writing this review after I contacted customer service about the issue. The LaView customer service is really good. They quickly responded to my request and after trying to help me troubleshoot, decided to send me a replacement lock to swap with my malfunctioning one. Joe was the representative who helped us, and we're glad to have had him help us.
