the 10/32 side can be screwed directly into a tapped ...

the 10/32 side can be screwed directly into a tapped hole in schedule 40 PVC pipe. I drill a hole in the PVC and tap the hole with a 10/32 tap. The threaded end is a little smaller than 10/32 I now use an 8/32 tap and ream it out a little to get a tighter fit. Can put one or many into a threaded cap on a PVC 1/2 riser to eliminate using 1/2 black drip tube. I have had to remove all the 1/2 drip tube because of splits and leaks... all schedule 40 PVC now except the last couple of feet with 1/4 drip tube
