Perfect replacement

My old lever had become worn out and would no longer stay in the down position, so we were having to hold it down in order to let the tub drain. The lever on my old plate had just a simple clip on the back to hold it in the up or down position. This plate has a much stronger spring mechanism on the back to hold it in position which I imagine will last a lot longer. I'm no plumber, but it was simple to replace: just remove the screws, pull out the linkage from the drain pipe, switch the linkage to the new lever using the old cotter pin, and re-install. I just wish it would have come with a new cotter pin. My old one was pretty grimy, but it was fortunately still in good enough condition to re-use. Other than that I'm completely satisfied.

Feels cheap but has worked for 5 months

Feels super lightweight and cheap, but so far it has worked really well. Replaced an older lever that was sticking very badly, and this one hasn't missed a beat. Was able to use the old drain plug and hardware without a problem. Just needed some minor length adjustments to accomodate the new lever. Pleased, especially for the price.

Easy to Replace, Looks Great!

I needed to replace the trip plate in my bathtub after the level on the old trip plate broke off. I had no idea how to replace it, but I looked it up on YouTube when this LASCO part arrived. It turned out to be really easy to do, and the new trip plate looks and works perfectly!

Got this to replace one 28 years old that no longer would stay in the drain position. It is metal and seems well made,and it will stay in the position you put it in. My tub will drain now which is all I needed. The chrome finish looks good like it should last awhile. Happy with my purchase, would buy again.

Just what I needed

I received this trip lever and it was exactly what I needed: A well made trip lever for cheap. Installation was a snap and all is well again. I'll be sure to check out this brand when it comes time to redo my master bathroom as well.

Cheap

It's cheap, but it does work. You get what you pay for. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but we only use our tub to wash the dog, so it doesn't get daily use.
