Great costume, Looks Great!

I looked at dozens of costumes before settling on this one and I'm glad I did. This is a great costume! I ordered it for a renaissance festival. I'm 5' 7" and the medium size it fits great. The costume is easy to put on, looks great, and is breathable. The sleeves are a little bit itchy at first, but it's not bad. The cape/sash are very fancy looking. The gauntlets, boot covers, and shoulder armor is metallic looking foam/fabric, but it looks really good considering it's not metal. The whole costume is very light. The only drawback is the crown which looks nice but is not adjustable. I guess my head just isn't big enough to be king, because the crown is too big. It would be nice if they shipped a smaller crown for smaller outfits. Anyway, if you're looking for a halloween, party, or fair costume, this is a good choice. FYI, it doesn't come with a sword, boots, or tights.

I especially liked the long cape that "flowed" when my husband walked

My husband looked so regal in this. The packaging was incorrect (there were three arm gauntlets and only one shoulder guard) but it didn't affect our use for the costume. I especially liked the long cape that "flowed" when my husband walked. :) Besides the incorrect piecing, the other complaint I have is that the crown was HUGE and non adjustable. I bought a "queen" costume by the same company and it's crown was single sided (front piece only) with an elastic band that stretched to fit. This crown was two pieces of plastic/rubber - front and back - that locked together. I had to hand sew a piece of elastic to a single piece of it so that it was flexible

Fun comfortable costume

This was a fun costume to wear for Halloween, it has a bunch of pieces to fit together but they’re soft and not uncomfortable. The velcro shoulder could be sturdier but other than that it was a great costume. The crown was nice and durable.

Awesome costume, plus crown tip.

Best costume I've ever purchased. Won my work's Halloween contest. I did like another reviewer and purchased a chain mail coif from Amazon for $20 that really made the costume that much better. The arms are a bit itchy. Some other reviewers said they had trouble with the crown staying together. I didn't have this problem at all. However, I put the crown together and held it so that the 2 thick parts would bend into a circle and left it over night in that position. Since it comes flat, you need to make sure that you can "train" it to round out on the thick parts so that it will stay together. I have a big head and wore the crown on top of the chain mail coif all day without issue.

Product is great!

The costume Is pretty fantastic. Honestly the fabric seems sturdy and breathes surprisingly well. Everything looks nice and premium. The only issues i have are with the Crown and the Belt that it comes with. The crown looks amazing and it angers me that I can't use it. It comes in two pieces and uses two holes with rubber pieces that go in them to keep it together and it just simply doesn't work. The only way to get this crown to stay would be to hot glue gun it or something of that nature. Which is a shame because it really does look great. The belt is the only cheap piece in this costume. it has some velcro on it and it doesn't really fit with the rest of the costume. It's just simply cheap. However i just put a regular LEVI's belt on and turned the buckle around with the cape covering it. This costume looks amazing though. Worth every penny.

Great but need a modification

This is a good costume. My boyfriend is 6 ft 190 lbs average build and he originally got the large which was way too big. We had to return it to get the medium. His only complaint was that the head hole was way too big and the weight of the cape pulled the neck area down his back. So he just sewed it smaller and it fit good. You will definitely need a pair of tights, he just used underarmour compression tights and it looked great. We liked the crown and thought it was better then other ones. It is made off a rubber material but is high quality. Everyone at the party kept stealing it. Add a sword, some chocolate gold coins an old style beer mug and you'll be a boss at the party.

Great Costume !

Fits nicely over normal clothes. An elastic strap on the leg piece let go the 3rd time I wore it. I'll repair it myself.

I won Best Costume!

I was pleasantly surprised with the overall quality of this costume. I'm 6' tall and weigh 200lbs and the xl fit well. The crown is two pieces of rubber that velcro together. I've got a big fat head but it still fit. I'm sure most people would be fine. You have to buy a sword separately. Overall it was comfortable to wear all night and it did not fall apart at all.

Great in hand luggage as v light and compact.

Fancy dress event. Outfit looked amazing on. Only criticism was the flimsiness of the straps on the leg shields which snapped far too easily.
