Works perfectly
Lately I've been having 4 hardboiled eggs for breakfast many mornings, and I wanted a quicker and easier way to make them vs boiling water. This fits the bill. For 4 hardboiled eggs, it's quicker to prepare and takes only 10-15 minutes to cook, and then I put the eggs in cold water and they're ready to go a few minutes later. I was a little nervous about piercing the eggs, but I haven't had an egg explode or leak on me, so it's fine. The eggs are just as easy to peel as eggs made via boiling. (The trick to getting easy-to-peel eggs is to use older eggs which have been sitting in your fridge for 10+ days.) Some of the water and I guess "eggshell residue" burns on the heating element every time, but it wipes off easily and isn't much of a problem. The plastic parts barely get dirty, and are dishwasher-safe. Downsides: When it's done, it lets out an extremely loud and annoying beep which doesn't stop until you turn it off. And I didn't like the poached or "sandwich" eggs because they ended up too waterlogged due to the steam, at least in my experience.

Convenient
I realized before it arrived that I already had a couple gadgets that did the same thing if I just figure out cooking time myself. That said, you still need to adjust the water level for your yolk level. My first poached eggs were still too runny.

Great little egg cooker.
I've never had one of these before but I love eggs and all the ways to cook and enjoy them. I have used the omelet and hard boiled egg settings so far and was surprised at how quickly it cooked. The omelet was a bit rubbery but I plan to try some additional ingredients and see what happens. All in all I love the compact size ease of cleaning and storage. I plan to purchase as a present soon.

Customer Support???
The egg cooker does a good job, customer support not so much! The egg cooker comes with a small cup which is critical for properly cooking your eggs. It measures the amount of water needed to cook your egg(s) to the desired level of hardness. The cup has markings on the outside to show you how much water to use. These markings are not permanent and will easily rub off while handling the cup during normal use. Krup does not stand behind this item, but will give you a vendor's phone number where you can buy a replacement cup at an exhorbitant price. Caveat emptor.

Works great
I got this as a Christmas gift for mom, and she says it is fantastic. She loves making little omelettes in the cups. So far it has been a well appreciated gift.

It works but a bit chintzy
This is an inexpensive item, so I'm not looking for top-notch quality. But it still seems rather flimsy and cheap to me. Hard boiled eggs work fairly well and consistently. The sandwich egg option though is hit or miss. The tray for sandwich eggs is awkward to use. And, even after measuring water carefully, I can get either nearly raw, runny results, or eggs that are the rubbery consistency of a stress ball. It also makes the most obnoxious, piercing sound when the eggs are done. That said, I use it almost daily and, after a month, it still works.

What the reviews say are right: This thing is perfect.
I sat on the idea of buying a dedicated egg cooker for a few months before pulling the trigger. At a mere $30 it wouldn't be much of a loss even on my small income even if the device did not work as well as the reviews claimed. Well let me be one to say: This thing is amazing. Preface: I have only used this to make HARD COOKED EGGS and that isn't going to change any time soon. Let's start with the device. It's pretty small. Smaller than I expected actually. I use large eggs and they fit no problem but jumbo sized ones might not. Come to think of it, I don't know if other sized eggs will cook differently, but I always use large and they always come out perfect. The main device is three different pieces. The heating element on the bottom, the plastic piece in the middle that holds up the eggs over the heating element, and the lid. The egg cooker works by boiling water and steaming the eggs to cook them. Along with that there is a small tube that it comes with. This tube is what you use to measure out the water needed to cook the eggs (the number of eggs changes the amount of water you use) and it is also what you use to pierce the eggs. On the bottom of this is a small pinpoint that you must pierce each egg with. The instructions say to pierce the pointier side of the egg, but reviews say to use the fatter, rounder bottom of the egg instead, which is what I have always done. The cooker itself has two settings. To the right you cook, and to the left you hold. I've never used the "to hold" setting because I always run my eggs under cold water when they are done. When set to cook, the rightward setting, the device buzzes very loudly to let you know they are done once it senses the water has run out. Once my eggs are done I remove the lid, grab the cooker by the handle and a bit of the other side (the eggs are insanely hot, but the plastic is bearable to touch) and run some cold water over them all for a couple of minutes. The eggs will still be pretty toasty but I just toss them in the fridge or eat them right then and there. Cleaning it up is quick and easy. The heating element will usually be a bit dirty for one reason or another but I've never had to do more than take a sponge to it one or two wipes and call it done. Rinse out the plastic that holds the eggs and the lid and let it all dry piece by piece. Everything still looks clean and works great. Now the actual eggs. NEW EGGS OR OLD EGGS, either way, they PEEL GREAT. It's well known that you use older eggs to boil because they peel better but with this little thing there has just been no need so far. The eggs peel great if I'm eating them while they're still warm or if they've been sitting around for a few days. And just to top it all off (and the most important part of all): They are cooked perfectly. Every single time. Just make sure you cool the eggs enough when they are done cooking so they don't KEEP cooking in their own heat. Now for the issues/downsides, which do not take away from the product at all: 1) I have had... maybe 2 "weak" egg shells that have not "pierced" properly and instead just crumbled. I felt it coming either way. 2) I have had one, single egg not peel well out of many. It happens, but it's very, very rare. 3) The device buzzes loudly when done, but does NOT turn off. You need to be there to tend to the eggs to stop them from overcooking.

Works good. Quick and easy eggs.
The only thing I disliked is. You have to cook the breakfast eggs longer. You need to cook longer if you dont want really runny poached eggs. You need to cook the sandwich eggs a little longer too. Overall. It cooks nicely and quick and easy. I will buy another one for our camper.

It's an USA product
It's an USA product, which is not compatible in UK. Amazon should not let or send electronic products to different countries with different voltage, it is dangerous as some people just use with adapter, this is not the case for all countries, for voltage differences converters should be used

Only 2 Pin Plug
The lack of a UK plug should be highlighted in the technical description. Not a deal breaker just a bit of a pain!
