Good amount for the value

I price shopped and compared the quality of the filters as well. They have been fine shifting the air in my house and I can tell the difference. There has been less dust in my house and this is coming from someone that has 5 big dogs and 2 cats. Worth it

A good value for a higher quality filter

I have an unusual size requirement for my ducted mini-split system (14x14). I was pleased that these filters are available in this size as my previous options were for either low-quality filters, or super-expensive 3M filters. These don't have the highest MERV or MPR rating but are a good compromise between performance and cost.

Works just fine

These furnace filters seem to work as intended. They have a higher MERV rating than I typically use and I wanted to see if they made any noticable difference when compared to my normal filters. I could slightly notice a difference in the air quality after about a month. (Not as much dust floating around) However, with better air quality came some downsides being I also noticed these made my furnace work a bit harder than normal, as well as, needing to change out the filter sooner than I typically would.

Reasonable filter at a low price.

This is a review of the Crisp Filters, 12x12x1 Air Filter, MERV 13, MPR 1500, AC Furnace Air Filter, 6-Pack How I rate my reviewed items: Personal preference or comments about the instructions do not affect the star rating. 5 Stars – I found no faults with the item. 4 Stars – The item functions well but could be improved. 3 Stars – The item does work as intended but with some difficultly and needs improvement. 2 Stars – The item sort of works as intend but has several limitations or a major fault. 1 Star – The item either does not work properly, is very difficult to use, and, in my opinion, not worth purchasing. Probably works better than the really cheap filters (read low MERV) and is well priced. But I doubt it is as good as a more expense, brand name filter, with the same MERV rating. It seems to work as intended, so it gets 4 stars, but I will still purchase the more expensive filters in the future. 1. They were all wrapped with plastic as a single package but were not glued together as some other reviewers have commented. 2. These 12x12 filters fit my system with no problem. These filters are actually 11-3/4” square and 3/4” thick. My regular filter, which is one of the brands listed as this filter being comparable to, is actually 11-5/8” square and 24/32” thick. The difference of 1/8” in length and width may be an issue if the location this filter is being placed in is tight. But there are usually some adjustable tabs in return grills that will allow it to work. The difference in thickness is so small, I would expect no problem being encountered. 3. Looking at the photos, I counted the number of pleats I could see in this filter, 15, vs the brand I was using that had 34. My understanding is that the less pleats there are, the less filtering material area there is. This has 2 disadvantages. First, the air flow will be more restricted causing the circulating fan to work harder, more of a potential problem with high MERV values, and second, the filter will clog quicker, resulting in having to change the filter more often. 4. The filter material appears to be thinner than my other filter since I can see more detail of objects through this one than my other filter. Part of that may be due to the different quantity of pleats. 5. I have no way to verify how well the filter works when filtering my air verses my other, MERV 12, filter. Guess time will tell as to how dirty it gets. The photo of my other filter is after 55 days of filtering air being drawn in from outside. I usually change it every 90 days but did not want to wait another 35 days before trying this filter. I shall update this review, if necessary, after having use the filter for about 55 days and can make a better comparison with my other filter.
