Assembly instructions are a bit off

We bought this despite the "warnings" about assembly. First we thought "it can't be that hard". We were wrong. After much struggle trying to put the second arm on the back, we had to back up and re-think the entire assembly. Here is our advise to anyone purchasing (which we highly recommend, gave 4 stars because of instructions). The casters are extremely difficult to put on, so we put a bit of grease on them, and they snapped right on. We were NOT concerned with them coming off, as once the O-Ring is seated on the other side of the shaft, it won't go anywhere. Then, SKIP step 4!!! The bottom of the arms has sliding holes, meaning they have more freedom to move. Attach BOTH arms to the back first...then flip the chair over and attach the arms to the bottom! We wish we would have figured this out FIRST. With that said, We would recommend this chair, as it IS very comfortable.

You're gonna need a sturdy wall, a silcone oven mitt, and an unshakeable desire to succeed

We all know the saying, you get what you pay for. This chair is fairly nice for the price I paid. Sturdy metal base, solid casters, fairly decent upholstery. What could go wrong? I should have known; there is always a price to pay. The price was my pride. There are a total of six steps to assemble the chair. The first five took a total of 15 minutes without breaking a sweat. The last step involves screwing the two sides of the back of the chair to the arms. You would assume that the back of the chair would snap into place with ease and the screws would simply be there to ensure the user would not fly back into obivion when leaning into the seat. No, what the instructions will not tell you is the one inch space that will appear on either side that is not joined. It doesn't seem like much, until you start to try to pull the chasm together with little more than a half inch bolt, one measly hex wrench, and all of your will to live. No matter how hard you try, no matter how much you curse, you will not be able to bridge the gap with brute strength alone. This is where the title comes in. In a rage of fury, I shoved the chair across the room and into the wall. I realized if I pushed the side of the chair against the wall and held on to the tension with my leg and a prayer, I could start to BEGIN to twist in the screws. Then began the 35 minute process of screwing two bolts with the wrench the size of my patience, one half twist at a time with the help of a silcone oven mitt to keep my fingers in their natural god-given shape. Was it worth it? I couldn't answer that for you, but most of life's trials have left me little more than a lesson learned and a lovely foot-sized marking on my backside. At least with this trial du jour, I have a chair to ease into afterwards. If you are brave enough to attempt, may whatever God you love be with you.

Decent product but assembly frustrating.

Completing the final step was extremely difficult as the back is too narrow to easily attach to the arm pieces. Even though the arms were left loose, as the instructions indicated, the only way to get the arms attached to the back was to completely remove the arms from the seat cushion, attach the arms to the back, then force the arm/back assembly onto the seat cushion and line up the bolt holes. Either the cushion is too wide, or the back is too narrow.

Good chair for the price

Assembly wasn't easy... you need to be pretty strong to insert the back piece between the 2 arm rests because you have to compress the arms into the back while trying to screw it all together. I'm pretty stubborn about assembly and can do anything the instructions claim is a 2 person job on my own... this is theone that bested me!

Worth it

Chair is amazing, it took about 20-30 minutes to put together for me, extremely sturdy, comfortable and firm. True to picture and description. Worth the price as well

Color assembly is well excepted for the price. Support is great

Keeping it for the support. Color is off, putting together be aware the arms and molded plastic material whatber it is so not align and screws are difficult. Not a chair for folks over 200 pounds.

Decent for the price

Overall the chair is good. It was easy enough to assemble, but the back rest and arm rests do not fit together firmly no matter how I adjusted them. The wheels also do not roll very well, so it is difficult moving. The seat and back are comfortable, and the arm rests are nice. UPDATE: Customer service for the company did reach out about the issues. They sent new parts, but I was unable to disassemble the chair and put the new parts on. So they issued a partial refund, which was nice. They then offered a partial refund, which improved my rating.
