KOHLER K-14437-CP Purist 30-Inch Towel Bar, Polished Chrome

After assessing the reviews posted for this product, I purchased it based upon the very negative feedback regarding lesser expensive towel bars. The two towel bar posts mounted to the wall have a machined "V" groove to accept the set screw which has a "V" shape so the two line up and provide additional rigidity and tightness when screwed tight with the provided hex screw wrench. Here's the issue....the two "V''s do not physically align with each-other. The only recourse is to tighten the set screw as much as possible to prevent the towel bar from being wobbly or slipping out and landing on the floor. This would be problematic as we have clay based floor tile and the towel bar is heavy and would certainly break the floor tile. For any others that have experienced this, please post here. If I have missed something in the "V" set screw fitment, please instruct me as to how to correct this.

Solid, sturdy, and elegant.

Very high quality. Feel solid and sturdy. The included mounting hardware worked very well. Mounting system creates a much tighter and more solid attachment to our drywall than cheaper bathroom fixtures. I don’t expect this to eventually fall off the wall or pull out of the drywall like so many of the cheapo Home Depot products end up doing. It’s hard to swallow the price tag but ultimately worthwhile.

Pricey and perfect

This towel bar is the perfect complement to the Purist series. Quality and design, you get what you pay for. Interesting thing, the packaging was opened on this box. Noticed the weight on this wide towel bar is lighter than the shorter bar we're replacing this with. Hmmm.

Perfect

It is better then described. The bar is very strong yet elegant. It looks simply beautiful in my modern styled master bathroom. The length allows me to open bathsheet towels fully to dry. I strongly recommend this product. It is worth the price - you will not need to replace for any reason. It will suit any decor if you chose to remodel again.

Beautiful. I would have given a 5 star. The description said it is made in USA but the box said made in China. I paid an extra $100 ( as compared to the other color) thinking it is makes in USA. I felt lied to.

Great quality!

Love the look and it is great quality - it was installed in 2018 and still looks like new and is rock solid.
