Yet Again

I have been trying to find a faucet for my new kitchen sink for weeks. I generally will purchase an item like this locally but the selection is pitiful. I turned to Amazon. The first one I ordered arrived in an unsealed box. When it took it out of the box, water dripped out of the faucet so I know someone had installed it and returned it. I did not read all the reviews and found out that the sprayer hose did not pull down and did not have sufficient range to fully rinse the sink. Back it went. I went further upmarket in price and that one also arrived in a box that had been opened and resealed. For $329, this one had a pull down sprayer but it was plastic. After I installed it, when you would turn off the water the sprayer would continue to drip. When I took it out to return, I somehow missed a one inch scratch on the back side of the faucet. Now we come to this one. I love Koehler faucets so I splurged on it. Again, the seal on the box was broken. I almost sent it right back without even taking it out of the box. I could tell it had never been installed so I examined it throughly for any damage. I read all the reviews and almost passed on it. There are multiple reviews complaining about the button you have to push on the spray head every time you want the full force spray and it resets to normal every time you turn off the water. I don’t understand this complaint at all. I actually love this feature. This is the first faucet of this type that doesn’t splash all over the place when you turn it on. Yes, if you want to fill up a large pot, you must press the button but it is not an inconvenience in my opinion. If you fill up a lot of pots, get a pot filler installed by your cooktop. I wash most of my dishes by hand and the standard flow is more than enough. The quality is first rate. The spray head does not drip when you shut off the water. It doesn’t pull down but it still reaches every corner of the sink. Another fantastic feature that is very, very rare on this type of faucet is that the coiled spring can be removed for cleaning. That is one of the reasons I’ve never bought this type of faucet in the past. The spring and hose always look dirty when I’ve seen them in other homes. If you are willing to spend this much money, I highly recommend this faucet.

Overspray on stream function

The media could not be loaded. I had our plumber install this Kohler semi-pro faucet. Upon completion we tested everything and to my dismay the steam function has considerable overspray rather than a clean, precise stream with no way to make adjustments it seemed. He spent considerable time trying to figure out and remedy without success. For the cost of the unit I am quite disappointed. The company has not returned my calls... If I had it to do over I probably would not order this model. Update #1-I contacted Kohler, described the issue and they sent a new nozzle on Tuesday. Part was received today, Friday. Screw off original nozzle, screw on new one. Turn on water. Watch new nozzle spurt a steady leak from under toggle switch. I again contacted Kohler and was again told a new nozzle would be sent. At this point I have little confidence in the reliability of company's products. I will update again, perhaps the 3rd time will be the charm.

Very Nice!

It’s a very nice faucet. It was easy to install. The rubber button to change the spray pattern can get dirty on the matte black one. Other than that I love it.

Very nice, good flow

Great looking faucet with amazing flow, even with a water saver. The regular setting is great, and then it has a steroids setting which could peel paint. I wish it stuck out a little bit further from the base so it would hit the middle of the sink basin.

I am in LOVE with this faucet

I couldn’t be happier with this faucet! My plumber only had good things to say about the installation and feel of the faucet. The spray pattern is amazing and so helpful for channeling bits from the edges of the sink towards the drain ( only have had it installed a week so haven’t used the spray feature for anything else yet but I’m sure it will be helpful for washing stubborn dishes as well. And not to mention it is just a beautiful spray pattern too ???? The matte black finish is gorgeous and so smooth. One thing I absolutely love about this faucet is the fact that it does not have a pull down hose with a faucet weight. It is my opinion and experience those are often a cause of leaks and breakage through use.

Perfect Purchase

The media could not be loaded. We love this faucet! One of my main objections when purchasing a faucet was that it had to have the magnetic hold. highly recommend!

Main stream is messy and sprays all over - return window at Amazon too short.

I bought this faucet in early August and installed in early September as my kitchen remodel finished up. My return window is closed with Amazon now, and after installation I've found the main stream of the faucet splits into a few messy streams and dribbles/sprays all over when in use. Paying over $500 for a faucet, my expectation was that this thing would be perfect out of the box. Also now knowing that my return window is closed through Amazon, I would never purchase something like this from Amazon again. If I had bought it from Home Depot they would be taking it back right now. Otherwise I think I like it, but pretty irritated that it's not working properly for the price paid. I've reached out to Kohler to see if there are any known problems like what I have. We'll see what they do and I'll update my review as needed. I have faith in Kohler so hoping for a good outcome. UPDATE: Kohler sent me a new faucet head and it works perfectly now. So it's a great faucet! I still wouldn't buy this type of item from Amazon again due to the 30 day return policy.

Awesome culinary faucet

I recently replaced my Kohler Forte with this Kohler Purist. Yes, it was triple the cost of the old faucet but wow what a difference. Visually it makes a statement in the kitchen. Functionally it out performs every aspect of the old faucet. The sweep and boost option keep the sink much cleaner. The temperature control works perfectly. Despite what people say about the sprayer nozzle, it’s plastic. That’s not a bad thing being all metal would make it heavy. I chose to have a plumber install it. Two guys had it installed and fully tested in 20 minutes. A do-it-yourselfer can probably do it in under an hour.

awesome faucet

I bought this faucet to replace the brand new baril kitchen faucet that was originally installed and was absolutely awful. This faucet is 100x better. The magnet holder works very well and I the spray, increased water pressure are great. Everything about it is awesome quality. It's a little tall but I have an 11 ft ceiling in my kitchen so its not bad but might be too tall for lower ceilings.
