Can you go wrong with Klein?

I wasted money on an inferior product, misplaced it and replaced it with Klein. I should have bought Klein in the first place. Won't make that mistake again!

Cuts clean,tight jaws allow for clean cuts. Cut through 4 gauge cable with a decent squeeze.

Great cable and hose cutters

I have an older pair of these that I've had for about 10 years and have used alot. They are finally wore out so I decided to replace them. This part seems to be of the same quality the old ones were. If you are cutting thick cable or rubber hose in smaller diameter you definitely need these.

A great tool

I've never been disappointed by Klein tools and this is no exception. Very sturdy and does the job as advertised.

Works very well

I debated buying these, but in the end made the right choice. Yes, I could have made the cuts necessary in the heavy duty cables with more generic cutters, but they would have been ragged, and would have required much more effort.

Don’t try to cut AWG 6 wire without this

I thought I had the tools needed to clean up the professional installation of the power protection unit in our motor home. My old lineman pliers were the wrong tool for the job. Now I am ready to install the bulkhead connector for the 50 Amp shore power cable once I settle on the right stripper.

Cuts wire with ease

Gave the cable cutters a quick sharpen with a diamond sharpening stone to touch up the edge before use. Cut a AWG 10/ 3 underground cable with ease. Also cut some 6 AWG wires like nothing at all. I should have got these cutters years ago for cutting electrical wires rather than fighting with pliers. Cutters are good quality, and the joint is nice and tight with no play. Highly recommend these.

These are scary.

I've cut through 4/0 wire with minimal effort with these. I am in awe of their power. Please do remember that these are made by Klein, a company that makes tools primarily for electricians. These cutters are really only designed for copper and aluminum wire; they likely will not last long if you need it for cutting bolts and such.

Overall decent cutters

These cutters work well but have limitations. Cutting heavier than recommended gauges won't work out well as the cutting edge will chunk out. I've seen reviews where they have done this cutting within recommended limits. Take care when using them. There is a newer model available with higher leverage cutting although I don't find these hard to use. Shop around.
