Great for pulling wires quickly

Does what it's supposed to, isn't too flimsy and the plastic tip is nice. Doesn't feel brittle and haven't had it catch on anything yet.

Klein Tools 56335 Flat Steel Fish Tape

I lost my previous fish tape during my move 2 years ago, and I bought this one. What I like is that the end of this is a plastic end with a hole in it that can hold 1 wire from a roll of romex. I don't use this anyway, and I had straightened out the end curve of my old tape because they always seem to find something to hang up on, I just use a strong tape that I bevel to attach my wires. I had no issues with feed and retraction, and I ran a lot of speaker wire, Ethernet cable, and coax. When I did reel it in when the end hit the feeder, I kept reeling until there was tension on the tape.

Lifesaver

Lifesaver. Was trying to run heavily shielded or underground rated speaker wire in walls. They have a tendency to curl up. Little bit of duct tape wrap to the end of this fish tape and they flew straight.

Great Tool for a Little Price

I bought this to fish wire in a finished wall and it worked great. I thought it was going to be way more expensive than it was. Overall a great value for a a DIYer!

What can I say, It's a Klein Tool...

Love the fact that this is made of a rather sturdy flat yet flexible sturdy, (I know how that sounds), coil of hardened steel with a wedge shaped tip on the end to easily tape wires to for down or up feeding. Key word here, the coiled steel is hardened, so it is flexible, but extremely hard, as in deliberate hard, to kink or put a bend in it. The whole inside of it then rotates like a wheel to wind it back in for super easy tool clean up and super small storage. SO much nicer and easier to use than the old school rods. I used mine to feed 2 cat6 cables simultaneously down through the wall header in my attic to the floor level of the 2nd floor, around a window frame. With ease! Super good find!!

Easy to use

I've never had a wire snake of my own.. always use a friend of mine... so I decided to buy me this one after checking out a few.. needed to pass some HDMI cable thru the ceiling of the first floor to the second floor and also across the ceiling on the first floor.. it was so easy it literally by pass everything in the wall an does what it suppose to do.. buying one of this of my electrician friend because his is too old..this morning I used it to run some romex wire from the basement to the attic and I must say it was so easy I didn't had to put holes in my walls to see the wire.. must buy

A Great Help in Threading Wires

Used it for fitting a new set of three lights in existing ceiling, and couldn't have threaded the new mains cable above the plaster board without it. Also used it for fitting new aerial lead from garage to existing socket on first floor. Yes it can require patience but so far it has won the day. Another great thing I have purchased
