More Comfortable than you think

I wasn't sure these were going to be nice cushions, but when I opened the box and installed them, Wow I was impressed.

Very good but not great

Had to send one back because of the stitching blemish on the front side. All of the 4 cushions have the same blemish but not as bad. See second and third picture. For such an expensive cushion. I am surprised that there wasn’t a better method like Velcro. It’s right in the front! Otherwise I’m looking forward to seeing them not fade. So far so good on that. Give it a summer and I’ll re review.

Very nice - almost 5 stars

Cushions are very nice - thin yet ample padding. Love ability to roll them up for storage. Downside is extremely difficult to roll them up for storage and compress them enough to connect the loop provided over the button to stay closed. In addition, the loop is made of elastic which stretches and wears out easily. Instead they should have used maybe a shoe lace type cord instead of the elastic loop so a person can loop a cord around the button - would last longer and you would be able to close the roll.

Update May 2022: The pillow on this lounge chair has changed colors. It matched upon arrival, but now it is darker/warmer than the rest of the cushion. It's like maybe it wasn't protected from sun discoloration like the rest of the cushion. Disappointing. I have added a photo to demonstrate the discoloration. Original review: I am torn about how to review this product as there are some really good things, and some not-so-good things. The good: 1) It is super attractive! 2) The pad conforms to the shape of your lounge chair (mine is curved, so I like how it follows the curves). 3) The fabric is water-repellant. 4) The built-in pillow is nice, as it won't blow away like other pillows. 5) The fabric is of nice quality and the colors are tasteful. 6) Considering how thin the pad is, it's pretty comfortable. I wouldn't want to sleep on it for a long period of time, but it's nice for lounging. The bad: 1) I bought this first in the red color, and I noticed almost immediate fading. Now we did have an extreme heat-wave during that time, but I would still expect the color to remain and not start fading after only a week. I ended up sending that red one back and got the heather gray instead, since I figured that light gray color would look better if it faded. 2) On both cushions I bought, they stopped the stitching of the cushions right in the middle of the seat section, leaving a little puckered area where it is quite visible. Stopping the stitching along the edge would be so much smarter. 3) The channels trap debris which blows in and falls from trees. So it needs frequent cleaning. Vacuuming doesn't work well because of how it gets down into the grooves. It's easier to fluff the debris out of there. 4) The channels also trap water down into the grooves. So while the fabric dries quickly, the channeled areas don't. 5) While there are straps that wrap behind the chair to hold it on, there isn't anything (at least on my chair) that will help to hold those straps in place vertically. So the whole pad slides down the chair and over the edge with use. I have to keep pulling it back up. It's annoying. Your chair may be different. 6) On the second heather gray cushion that I bought, it looked as if it was a reject that someone returned, and they repackaged it up and put it in a box that wasn't the appropriate size. So the cushion arrived incredibly wrinkled on the back side. The whole cushion looked warped along the edges, and I was not happy at all! After 24 hours, it didn't expand and look much better. So I ended up using a clothes steamer on it and that made a big difference. Still...the cushion seems not as nice as the first red one I had bought. That one seemed like the fabric was more taut, and it never had the wrinkle issue. So I'm disappointed that the gray one seems a little less well-made. I'm considering trying another one to see if it's in better shape, but sending one back is a pain, as it's hard to compress it down to fit in the box. Ugh! Because of the issues on my second purchase, and because of the fading that I noticed on the first purchase, I have to give this only 3 stars, even though I love the look of the cushion.

Buyer beware.

These say they are water resistant, but they are not. However I treated them with Scotchguard Outdoor Sun & Rain and it rained the very next day. Water beaded up and I simply wiped it off with a towel.

Not Water Resistant!

My experience has found these storigami cushions to be far from water resistant. More like water logged. Maybe they forgot to treat them. Very disappointed with just that feature. They are comfortable and storage is easy.

Good looking, but a little fussy.

Looks really good on our new chaises. We have the antique beige. Considering the light color, there is a certain amount of spot cleaning that wasn't anticipated. Also, it takes quite awhile for them to dry after rain.

Comfy for how thin it is and takes up very little storage space

I’ve only used it once so far (it’s April in NE Ohio so not much opportunity to be out on the deck sunning myself yet) but it’s more comfortable than you would think for a chaise lounge cushion that’s this thin. The foam is very dense so it cushions as well as a thicker pad with less dense foam. I cannot speak to the water resistance or durability since it’s too early to tell. However it stores nice and takes up little space. Just roll it up and stick it in a closet if you’re not going to use it for a while. I know there are reviewers who groused about the “high” cost for the cushion and many thought they were getting the chaise lounge chair in the photo with it for the price. Apparently they thought you could buy a quality chaise lounge chair and cushion for only around $100 ???? but keep in mind you are paying for the convenience of a chaise lounge cushion with small storage footprint. The thick lounge cushions you can buy at Home Depot or Lowe’s for $65 and up have a larger storage footprint and for those of us with limited storage space this cushion is awesome. If I can get 3+ years out of it I will consider it money well spent.

Crazy price variations for this product

Why does the price of this product vary so much? Ordered it at 129$CA, and it is now over 200$... Anyway, the product is of good quality, I like it quite a lot, but I feel that it is already expensive when under 150$. My advice, wait until it is below 130$! Another advice: never leave it outside.

Great cushion. Very well made and comfortable. The pictures are not misleading if you actually take the time to look at them all. You are buying a high quality chaise cushion not a chaise lounger and cushion. I definitely recommend this product.

Mauvaise publicité, c’est fâchant !

J’ai reçu ma “fameuse chaise”. J’ai payé 200$ taxes incluses pour recevoir seulement le COUSSIN de cette chaise qui n’existe pas. J’étais en voyage au moment de la réception donc maintenant, je ne peux plus le retourner. Je suis pris avec un COUSSIN de chaise longue, sans chaise longue! Faites attention de bien ne pas vous faire avoir comme moi!
