Perfect Except

These tongs are some of the best tongs I’ve found to use on non-stick surfaces. They are almost perfect. 1 star off for the channel created by the squared metal holding the silicone tips. When using the tongs, if you lift something out of liquid tipping the tongs up, like out of a crock pot to get over the sides, the liquid flows down the channel and out the end all over you or your floor.

Better than anything I've ever used

These are great tongs and represent a quality product. We'll see how long the locking system works over time though. Overall a great purchase and I can highly recommend.

Good tongs

These are great. Good size. 10.26" means I have good reach to pluck things out of the oven without getting too close for the heat. They also make a rather satisfying click if you are the type to do the obligatory (dare I say mandatory) clacking when you open them.

Loud lock

I guess the lock on mine is slightly too large. It's hard to close and makes a loud click when I open it. I have hearing issues and this causes me problems. I bought an identical pair from Target which doesn't have this problem so it's a quality issue. I have another KitchenAid item which arrived defective recently as well. I would expect more, considering we're paying so much more than generic Target brands here.

The best tongs I’ve owned!

Just wanted to update two years later…still have them, and they are amazing. Will never go back to the multipack of tongs. The best tongs I’ve ever owned! These are really sturdy, high quality tongs! Just comparing them to my cheaper tongs that I got in a three pack, I can tell the kitchen aid ones are going to last longer. Other tongs always tend to bend for me and become useless after a while. These I’ve had for a few weeks now and I’m not seeing that. They feel and handle awesome!

Not Worth the Money

Solidly built but badly designed. They won't pop open, but they lock when you close them so it makes it hard to drop stuff. The mechanism is too stiff, but if it wasn't, they would just pop open. Like I said, it's bad design. These things are close to $30 and are barely better than the dollar store brand.

The media could not be loaded. Son muy fáciles de guardar y no ocupan demasiado espacio gracias a su mecanismo para mantenerlas cerradas. Resistente al calor por lo tanto sirven para ensaladas y sartenes al fuego
