Lightweight and Sturdy

Update 4: KingCamp customer service is amazing, and although the chair broke, I upgraded to 4 stars because of the great service I received. I contacted the manufacturer directly and let them know that my chair was past the warranty date when it broke and they kindly offered me a discount on a new chair. I then asked if I could buy a replacement part so I could do the repair myself, as I didn't want to add a perfectly good chair to the landfill for no reason, and KingCamp sent me a replacement part for FREE. And they even paid for the shipping as well! Took me about 30 minutes to repair which only involved threading some shock cord and popping in a rivet, and my favorite chair is back in action! Excellent customer service and can't wait to get my comfy chair back on the trail. Update 3: Well, it broke, so it's fairly useless right now. The plastic slip connector where the seat post secure into snapped, under normal conditions and minimal use. The upside is that customer service was great from the KingCamp website. I'm out of warranty with my chair, and they offered 30% discount on a new item, which I declined. I requested a replacement part and they are going to ship me one for free so I can repair it myself. Due to the outstanding customer service, I'm going to leave my 3 star review, otherwise it would probably be a 2 star product. Update 2: Although this still remains my "go to" chair, there is another downside to its design. The black material that comprises the chair gets really warm in the sun, even in winter. The mesh helps keep your back cool to some extent, but if you leave the chair in the sun for a while, and then return to sit down, you will feel the heat. I would suggest to the manufacturer that they make the chair with lighter colors (Grey, white, yellow, etc) to prevent this from occurring Update: The crossbar at the top of the chair has proven much more annoying and uncomfortable than I originally experienced. I have downgraded the chair from a 4 star to a 3 star review. I have now placed a small piece of pipe insulation across the top of the chair to provide cushioning for my head, which works great, but the customer should not have to craft this feature for themselves. If the manufacturer made a sewn-in cushion over the crossbar, or removed the crossbar completely, I would give this chair a perfect 5 star review. This chair is still the sturdiest of the lightweight chairs, but my Nature's Hangout chair is far more comfortable. Original review: A very sturdy and lightweight camping chair. I've used several different backpacking chairs recently, and this is one of better products on the market. It is incredibly stable, I'm a large guy (220 lbs) and I feel solid and safe sitting in this chair, even on uneven ground. The only issue is the cross bar that runs horizontally across the top of the chair just above the padded head rest. Your head doesn't actually rest on the pillow, instead my head touches the cross bar which can be rather uncomfortable. The designers should have put padding around the cross bar, that would have made this chair perfect.

A place to put your butt....

Performs as advertised. I needed a chair that was not too low to ground that could handle a larger American body. Does just that. The " padded head rest" is not padded much and sits too low on neck to be of much use. I'm 6 foot 1. No annoying bars across the back of your legs or back. Great for motorcycle camping , relatively compact, relatively easy to get out of, sturdy storage case, great for a few hours in front of the campfire for several nights in a row, but I would not use for long term, ( hours daily) ; pack a full size chair for that.

Very comfortable chair

I really found this chair to be very comfortable and easy to get in and out of. My parents, both over 75, were able to get in and out of it without assistance and fought over who got to sit in it around the campfire. Once they left it was the kids fighting over the chair. I have had requests to buy a full set for all of us camping. It's also the envy of multiple Scout BSA parents as well. I would have given this 5 stars but one of the shock cords broke within a week of camping. I figure I'll just replace all the cord with better shock cord.

Easy, Stable, and Comfortable Chair

I ordered 2 of these chair for an outdoor festival--first day used on a hard surface, second day farther out and in the sand. For both surfaces these chairs are comfortable and stable for at least a 115 lb and a 215 lb adult. Received the chairs several days in advance of the festival so we set the chairs up in the house to practice. Poles snapped together with little effort but it was a little difficult to stretch the chair seat fabric to fit the final pole the first time putting together The stretching helped and at the festival these were a breeze to put together. We really enjoyed the light carrying weight (3.2 oz), the headrest, and a little extra sides for arms but the storage bag needs a shoulder strap (had to buy one for each chair) and the poles need a Velcro strap (had to buy one 24in Velcro strap for each chair) to hold the pole folding together while you place in the storage bag. Overall, this folding chair is easy to carry and put together, stable on sand and hard services, and comfortable for several hours at a time.

Light weight, folds in small

This chair was exactly what I was looking for! Light, and small fit when folded. Easily can go into a backpack, you put it together in under 2 minutes. There is a front two pockets for phone and water bottle. Sturdy, I like how the sides of the chair kind of hug your hips which gives nice cozy feeling. I would not recommend this for someone thats 200 lbs or more as it is pretty narrow. Also great for kinds or average size human.

Portable but not comfortable for a tall person

I liked that this cair had feet on it that would prevent it from sinking into sand at the beach as well as its portability. Not suitable for backpacking but great to take on my motorcycle for motocamping. Unfortunately, I found it to be too narrow and low to the ground for me to be comfortable but I am 6'4" tall and 200 lbs. .

Comfortable, stable, and lightweight chair.

This chair is very lightweight, as well as small dimensions while folding it. This is why I choose it. I put it in my backpack while hiking. The chair is made with high quality poles, it is stable even when my toddler kid climed on it. The chair itself is comfortable, when i sit on it. But there is a pole in the chair back near the neck, it is hard, I would put a pillow to make my neck feel more relexable.

Was great until they broke

Loved how compact and light weight it is.. Easy to throw in luggage when traveling with sports team. Bought 2 and both broke with a week of each other. Lasted less than 7 months. Used at my kids soccer games only so not excessively

Comfy

its easy to install. But was go wrong step first time makes the left leg keep falling. (If you are first time buyer. Suggest connect the legs side fist the do the back two. Otherwise you may think of is it damaged like me) But except that. My kids love to use it when watching tv. They can have comfy posture to lying on that chair better than sit on the sofa. Comfy and sturdy chair 5*****

Rubbish.

Over a three week period of using the chair about 5 times it has begun to rip in certain areas. A good idea and size but poor quality. It claims a big weight capability, I am 5’ 8” and 11 stone, so hardly and extreme test of this chair. I’m very disappointed £50 !! Is a lot for a folding camp chair.

Viel zu eng

Der Stuhl macht einen hochwertigen und guten Eindruck. Er ist sehr leicht und einfach zusammen zu bauen. Leider ist der Stuhl viel zu eng konzipiert und drückt am (Norm-) Po :) Und NEIN, mein Po ist nicht überdimensional groß! Also leider ging der Stuhl zurück, schade!

Zweimal falsche oder defekte Ware

Zunächst das 2er Set bestellt, es kam nur ein Stuhl, lt. Amazon ein logistischer Fehler des Verkäufers. Nachsenden des fehlenden Artikels leider nicht möglich. Also zurückgesendet und zwei neue bestellt. Nun kam ein völlig defekter Stuhl, bei dem die elastischen Bänder an mehreren Stellen gerissen und durchgescheuert waren. Also wieder retour. Der Stuhl an sich ist eigentlich nicht schlecht (wenn auch nicht sehr bequem), berücksichtigt man das Packmaß wäre er wohl ganz in Ordnung. Auf eine erneute Bestellung lasse ich mich allerdings nicht mehr ein.
