Works good
Everything works great except for the little timer thing on the gas line. For some reason I couldn’t get it to work, but I just wrap a rubber band around it to keep it held down. For the price I’m still very happy

You get what you pay for
For use a few times a year it meets the need but quality is on low side. First time use, the thermometer stopped working for me. Burner is not that sturdy but is OK if you place on a solid, flat surface such as 2" cement blocks. On the good side, you get a couple of pots and baskets to cook a variety of foods for about a $100. For those curious about how much oil to use, I cooked two 15-16 lb turkeys using 3 1/2 gallons of peanut oil filled to the maximum line. I wouldn't go bigger than that to avoid splash over plus larger birds are more difficult to cook in any fryer without cutting them up first.

Automatic shutoff is a pain
Great product just shuts off after 15 min. Got to constantly repack the clock when doing crabs or shrimp

Worked a treat...
As an American in Scotland, I wanted to celebrate Thanksgiving with a deep fried turkey. The pot accommodated our 9.2kg bird perfectly. Just under 60 minutes later, a delicious crispy bird emerged. Very happy with my purchase. To all of the poor reviews...read the instructions and follow them.

Purfect for a Christmas Turkey!
So I got this for my husband for Christmas. His eyes opened as wide as a kid in a candy store's, and practically announced to the neighbours, "We're cooking the Christmas turkey in this!!!" Luckily our neighbours are kilometers away, so no one extra came for Christmas dinner, given the COVID restrictions. 45 minutes in the King Kooker, and the bird was delivered to PERFECTION. It had a beautiful, brown, crispy skin, juicy but also well done on the inside. I doubt we'll ever cook a turkey in the oven again. Since then he's been using it for wings and fries. The basket and smaller pot is super handy for those. BE WARNED though - you will need A LOT of oil! 4-½ jugs it took to cook the turkey. After my husband confidently stated it'd need "one jug... Two max." We had to borrow oil, given that it was Christmas and the stores were closed. No regrets with this purchase. Looking forward to having many a cookout this summer!

Pots burn a little on the bottom but they are so useful!!! Best purchase of the summer!! We make crab boils, corn and fried chicken in the pots.

Works perfect.
I ordered and it showed up in a couple of days. Everything was packaged well. It cooked perfect. I did however take the timer spring out for more convenience. Cooked a turkey and it turned out great. Wonderful product thank you king cooker.

Damaged
The large pot that came with the cooker has 3 massive dents along the top. Box and everything else was fine. Can't get a hold of anyone to have this rectified. For this reason I would not go with he cooker, however, if there was a customer service page to assist with this, as it seems to be quite common, I'd recommend this product. Just don't know what you're going to get. Likely you're going to get a damaged product.
