I replaced one of the incandecent landscape lights with this LED version in hopes of reducing the number of times I need to replace the bulb.The light has a slighly different color than the conventional lights and is slightly brighter but not really noticable unless you look closely. Installation was identical. The reason for 4 stars is that I won't know for few years whether the light actually delivers the long life promised.

Melting lights: Forget longevity, Kichler's 1 yr warranty for their EXPENSIVE lights will cost you bigly.

BUYER'S REGRET! We purchased 8 LED Kichler lights in 2013 for lighting our pathway to our pond as a DIY project. they looked great and provided a very pleasing light along the pathway for the first three years until one suddenly burned-out: the plastic mounting of the LED light to the aluminum fixture literally melted away producing a big black, dripping plastic glob on the middle light when it failed. Contacting Kichler to learn they only provide a 1 yr warranty, was extremely disappointing for these pricey lights. I purchased a new light to replace the melted one. And was happy again to have the string of 8 working... until this past winter! 4 more of the original LED lights melted in exactly same manner. 5 of 8 expensive Kichler LED lights have melted in less than five years... while none of the 4 inexpensive "brand x" tree mounted LED spot lights (costing 1/4 of these Kichler) which illuminate the large oaks above there path have had any issues. Spending more doesn't guaranty quality, a manufacturer warranty for 1 yr, when Kichler offers 15 yr warranty for their "PRO" line (costing ~$100 more each) is ridiculous. I'm replacing our Kichler lights with another manufacturer offering a 5 yr warranty, priced 1/4 of these flawed, poorly engineered Kichler lights.

High Quality, Good Value.

I have had several of these lights in service for two years now. I have only had to replace one and that was because the wind blew a large tree down on it. That being said, while the fixture was shattered, the light still works. I have had other Kichler fixtures (incandescent) in service for over 10 years and they look and perform no different than when installed. Not inexpensive, but they are reliable, attractive and wear like iron.

Exactly what I ordered

Exactly what I was expecting. I have other lights like this that I was trying to match. These are the same fixture - however, Kichler changed the lighting source. The previous fixture uses a bulb - these use LED lighting. Old bulbs give a yellow glow - these are whiter...not the fault of the seller. I received very quickly.

Don't think that just because you pay a lot, these will last. One of mine lasted less than 3 years before starting to flicker. Cleaned it up, tested it on the bench etc. Expected more.

Very happy!!

Had an old one with a light that was no longer working. Just the bulb was $119 thru Kichler but was able to buy a whole new unit for only $47!! Got within 3 days. Very happy!!!

Fragile and poor quality. Avoid these in any installation with activity.

I had my landscape architect include 40 of these lights in his design based on Kichler's reputation for quality and my hatred of plastic fixtures. I was searching for the durability and quality of metal fixtures. However, after a year of these being installed, I wish I had never bought them. They are made of thin cast aluminum which does not rust but that's the ONLY advantage over steel. If they get knocked by a lawn mower or soccer ball even slightly, the aluminum shaft breaks off at the base and frequently the fixture attached to the aluminum cap shears off, requiring replacement of the entire fixture for $100 plus labor. Or, the threads on the aluminum shaft easily become stripped and that also necessitates replacement of the whole thing. Also, the LED bulbs are not securely held in the fixture, so they are often falling out and I end up digging in the snow or mulch to find them and re-insert them. Think twice about using these except in a design where there is no traffic or moving objects anywhere near them.

Very high quality

Recently renovated our landscaping. Wanted to add two pathway down lights. These lights were perfect. Easy to assemble. Easy to install. Very pleased.
