Great lamp. Sturdy and looks good.

Arrived well-packaged. Yes, as another reviewer mentioned, it is annoying to deal with styrofoam, but it really did the job well of protecting the product. The lamp was easy to put together and I am not mechanically inclined. So I'm really curious how one reviewer managed to break one of the glass lampshades and cut himself. He had to seriously be strong-arming that lamp. You simply unscrew the plastic piece from each base, place the glass shade in place and screw the plastic piece back on again. Done. The lamp works well and seems very stable. Those saying it is wobbly must have simply received a defective one and just need to exchange it or they did not tighten the lamp base enough. The base itself is very sturdy and has some weight to it. Nothing flimsy about it. The lamp lights up as follows: 1 lamp, 2 lamps, or all 3 lamps. They do not individually light up. It's 1 on, 2 on, or all 3 on.

Great lamp for the price!

As the description says, this lamp is brushed steel with white glass shades. The glass is frosted not glossy, is packaged well and arrived in Hawaii unbroken. If it can make it 2000 miles across the ocean, I'm sure its packed well enough. Its easy to assemble, with a simple "O" ring to attach the shade to the lamp, and three pieces of tubular steel to make up the stem of the lamp. I use 3 CFL's in the lamp, and its nice because you can turn on one, two, or all three of the bulbs. There is no dimmer however. Other than that, its solid construction and I can see it lasting a long time. I am satisfied with my purchase for the price I paid (under a hundred) however if it were to exceed that, I might have considered other options.

Bang for buck

It's Very bright with all 3 on- and my loft relies on lamps not ceiling fixtures. This is perfect for me. The 3 settings are terrific. Provide me with options that say, a dimmer would effectively create. Only one drawback- maybe it's the bulbs I use but it can get warm and make the room warmer as well. Not worried about safety, just my AC in the summer :) Oh- the pivoting shades make it so easy and convenient to move where you place lamp, how you want the light to disperse, and give options for task lighting. I'd buy it again if I needed another!

Very nice lamp

It is a good quality lamp. We hooked it up to the dimmer and that works very well. There are 3 positions: All 3, one on the left or 2 on the right. Satin metal looks very classy. White glass spreads light evenly in the room. Stands very well and balanced properly. We installed LED bulbs in it, reading is great with it. Heads adjust all the way up or down, depending what you need it to do. We have 2 lower heads down for reading and top lamp up toward to ceiling ( this one has a multicolor bulb for a nice ceiling glow). We get lot's of complements !

The lamp is well built and looks beautiful as advertised. The only problem I have encountered is using LEDS (which are quite heavy)the lamp has a problem holding aimed position.

I like the way it looks and the fact that you can light 1, 2 or all 3 lamps. But the construction is not great. The packaging was not great either - I had to exchange the first lamp because of broken peace.

factory made mistake in assembly

took 3 times to get right number of posts on lamps. boxes were all the same outside inside 2 of 3 had only 2 extension post the way made done at factory location which is china.

Bad design for glass cover.

I bought this lamp but when I was trying to put the glass cover in the fixture it broke the glass and cut my left arm. I had blood all over my hand, so next time when I got the another one for replacement I didn't try to push hard. Glass cover doesn't fit well, and even if you manage to push all the way in, it's a pain to remove and put it again when you want to replace the bulb. There can be better design for $100 lamp. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I am giving one star for Amazon service it was very fast shipping & pick up even with the replaced one.

Good quality - very happy with the purchase

I bought two of those. We do really like them. You are able to use regular bulbs, which is why we bought them in the first place. The lamp is made of good quality. Stainless steel is well polished, and the overall quality is there. I am using lead light bulbs which makes these things very bright. I bought three in order to get two good ones, so you might have to return an item to get a good one, but the return is hassle free and cost zero dollars. The one very minor issue I have with one of the lamps is the key. It is a bit loose and sometimes you twist it and it would not turn the light on. In this case I just have to put a bit of pressure to get it to work. Nothing terrible, and definitely not a deal breaker. The one I had to return, the glass were not of the same length. Reordered and the replacement was perfect.

Nice looking and throws off decent amount of light

Nice looking lamp and looks good in our living room. It actually throws off a lot of light so although it can take a higher wattage bulb we have been using the 40 watt equivalent. Still great to use for reading or for mood lighting. The only thing I would have preferred is if each of the 3 lights had independent on/off switches which would make the lighting more versatile. But still okay as 1 click turns on the top light, the 2nd click gives the lower 2 lights and the 3rd click turns on all 3 lights. But very happy with the overall look and quality of the product. Came well packaged with easy instructions.

Great lamp, gives off very good lighting. We pointed the shades towards the ceiling for extra brightness...
