Cute and comfortable, but a little warm.

Overall, I do like these boots. The size 8 fits a bit more like an 8.5, but the 7.5 I tried actually fit like a 7.5 and was too small. Despite being a little bit big, they are very comfortable and allow a good toe splay when walking, and did not require any breaking in. Wore them for days without a single blister. That being said, the insert isn't the greatest for multiple days of walking as my feet did get a little sore, especially in the heel. My one complaint is that they are HOT. I have never had a problem with my feet sweating in boots, waterproof or otherwise, but these babies DO NOT BREATHE. The waterproofing on these boots works both ways. It keeps water out, and sweat in; if your feet sweat at all, you will know it. Had I realized this before hiking in them, I probably would have returned them. Alas, it is too late now, so they will be worn for late fall/early spring, and winter hiking. I will have to keep looking for a breathable, waterproof summer boot.

Fits well when I add my own insoles

I had tried this shoe on locally in a store but they did not have a size 7, only 7.5. So I had an idea of the fit but needed a smaller size. So I ordered a size 7 online. My package arrived faster than I expected. The fit was slightly tight in the width and top of foot, but I was able to remedy this by removing the provided insoles and inserting custom orthotic insoles that i wear with other shoes as well. Now they fit much better. I had a previous pair of Keens hiking boots that lasted me about three years before the soles came apart. I loved the width of those and the comfort. These are very similar but the top comes up higher and fit more snug to my ankle/lower leg which I love. This shoe hugs my mid foot more which I also like, and doesn't look like a boat on my foot. I have wide metatarsals that taper to a narrow heel, and very high arches, so it is hard for me to find a good fit. This is as close as I can get after trying on no less than seven different hiking boots recently. I will warn there is not a lot of air in these. This isn't a bad thing most of the year in NE Minnesota but I can see my feet getting hot in the dead of summer hiking. I LOVE the traction on these. They are very comfortable and nice looking. Would purchase again. I love that Keen's cater to wider feet.

Perfect for winter hiking!!!

These boots feel so secure on. I was a little apprehensive to try them because I have tailors bunions on both of my feet from wearing shoes that were too tight around the toes. That is not the case at all with these!! I have found these to be some of the most comfortable hiking boots I have ever tried - and being an avid hiker, I have tried MANY. I got my usual size 9, and with some nice wool socks, was immediately outside taking on the snowy mountains of Utah. They are so perfectly grippy and have a wonderful, secure weight to them. My new favorite winter hikers!! ????❄️

Reliable Keen fit, surprising comfort.

I like the reliability of the Keen fit, especially when ordering online. These boots exceeded my expectations. They were very comfortable at first wearing, and fit around my somewhat large ankles well, even with thick bunchy socks. I expected a break-in period, and so wore them for just a few hours the first few times. Other than a bit of rubbing on the back of my heels, they had no issues. I now wear them all day and love them.

A bit stiff

It’s a stiff boot but I e been wearing it everywhere and I am breaking it in. Haven’t walked through a shallow river with them…yet, but I’m sure they will do fine.

Best shoes ever!

I have large feet, but a good track record with Keen. They are one of the few brands that carry women’s 11 and 12. I’ve used women’s 11 in the past at work for steel toed boots. While comfortable, my toes touch the end. I took a gamble and ordered size 12 since there are no 11.5. Shoes required no break in period, although I was working on getting my miles up. Having just returned from doing over 50 miles on vacation, including the Inca Trail, Amazon, and Rainbow Mountain in Peru, I can say that these Keens were a life saver and that my feet were in great shape and blister free!

My wife loves them!

Purchased these for my wife for Christmas. She loves them. Fits a tad bit large...but not an issue. She even wears them around the house like house shoes. Thanks Keen. You have made me a happy husband.

Super comfortable

Love this boots, i walk around 5 km per day, just love then. I am normally size 11 but in Keen i am a 12, they tend tu run smaller. I totally recommend them oh, i use orthotics, totally orthotics friendly!
