It works!

I never thought I'd ever buy something like this. But our new puppy was struggling to adjust. She was howling and crying when it was delivered. Within 2 seconds of turning it on she stopped. She grabbed it and took off with it. Laid down and started to try nurse on it. She's now been calm and asleep for 40 min with it next to her. I'm so glad we got this for her.

My cat Ralphie recently turned 9yrs old. He has special chronic health needs, and recently suffered another health crisis. I gave this beating heart pillow to him for his birthday. Loves it, great item, I posted pics w/him napping with it turned on.❤️

UPDATED REVIEW High quality toy

UPDATE: WORTH EVERY PENNY! My puppy is now almost 11 months old and this toy has held up so well, and is one of her favorites! She has destroyed other stuffed toys within days but this one hardly shows any wear at all, despite being one of the first toys I purchased for her. Original: This toy seems very durable, and the fabric stands up to my puppy very well. Unfortunately when I turn on the heartbeat function, my puppy is terrified of it. I can't really comment on longevity since I've only had this toy for a few days. I did take stars off for value only because this is basically a stuffed toy and kind of overpriced in my situation since I cannot use the heart. But of course, other dogs may have a different experience. For reference my puppy is 13 weeks old, female.

My puppy didn’t care for the heartbeat, which is very loud. He did play with the toy, with the heartbeat turned off. After a couple of weeks, he had chewed through the Velcro opening, and began removing the stuffing, which resulted in brown fluff littering our home. Way too expensive for a stuffy.

Works as advertised. Eats batteries

It would be nice if it had a switch which would shut off automatically at less time than 8 hours. It runs for 8 hours and if you don't shut it off manually, it will shut itself off after 8 hours. Who designed this? Someone who works for Duracell? If it had an option to shut off for example at 2 or 4 hours, it would be much better. Moreover, a dog is never lying in one spot for eight hours so he will leave the toy to beat away by itself, wasting your batteries. Better stock up on AA batteries!

Not for puppys

I have a golden doodle puppy and he got scared and anxious by the sound of it. Besides this product is tiny and too thick which makes it hard for a puppy to rest on. Not ergonomic for their neck or spine. It's a marketing gimmick and useless for puppies. The beatbox is positioned badly too.. when the so called pillow is upside down the puppy can feel the box and barks at it. I don't recommend this useless product.

Great comfort method for separation anxiety

When used properly, the heartbeat pillow is a godsend. I picked up my little girl where the drive home was an hour away. She slept the whole way while laying on top of it for comfort since she’s leaving her pack. Later that night, I used it again in her crate. No whining all night. I read somewhere on the comments that you’ll need to replace the batteries every day. Not true if used overnight and here and there. It’s day three and haven’t changed them yet. Highly recommend!

not worth it.

First time we turned this on it sounded great. Second time we turned it on it had a terrible vibration noise that would not go away when tightening the screws. It's never sounded good since. Talked to Amazon rep and he said, and I quote, "Awww, I'm sure your dog still loves you". Seriously!

Perfect for crate training

This worked perfectly for my new puppy while crate training. He doesn’t cry anymore and sleeps through the night until it’s time for his potty breaks

Worth buying - very comforting.

Our puppy loves this. He is now 4 months old but still sleeps with it. The only issue is that the heart beat is now twanging. That’s the only word I can think of using. It sounds like springs moving.
