They are insanely tight around the waist

I really like this brand but I have tried these shorts in sizes from 10 to 14 and the waist is so tight I have a muffin top every time. I give up. The material is nice and the length is perfect but the waist is too tight with no give.

Great shorts!

I previously bought these shorts at a store. They have been my favorites for years. I decided to see if Amazon could get them for me! Score! Great fitting, feeling, and flattering shorts!

Style for the mature lady

I'm beyond the age of "short" shorts. Tried these on Amazon Prime Wardrobe in a size 6 and were way too much leg. Gambled on a size 4 and perfect fit. Comfortable on my waist and doesn't "sag". Leg room just right. I'm only 5' so they come to just above my knee which is OK. Quality fabric. The Palm is a neutral green. I also ordered the denim which has a nice "aged" look. Highly recommended.

Great quality

I am 5'5 and 210. I normally wear size 14. I dont have much of a stomach, however but bigger legs and thighs. They are long just hitting middle of my knees but I like them that way, very modest. I think becuase I dont have much of a stomach they tend to slip down a bit. It is more of a lose fit. I will be ordering a size 12 to see if that will do. Very good quality and I do love the thick waist band. They are super cute. Great for those of us who bend over and underwear shows, these shorts helps that issue.

Arrived damaged. Nice short.

Was looking forward to wearing these shorts. They would have been nice and fit correctly, but the side was torn... BEFORE I tried them on. Proanly someone else tried them and ripped them and returned them. There was some stretch, but not a lot. Really bummed these were damaged. I guess I could sew them, but I actuslly do not have needle, thread etc. Otherwise I think they are great shorts.

Stitching came apart on top

Great shorts. Wore them to work and within one hour, the stitching came apart on the seam up top and got progressively worse throughout the day. I couldn't go home and change so I prayed the shorts didn't completely fall apart before I got home. Disappointing.

Different material

I have several pairs of these shorts purchased from Nordstrom. Apparently Nordstrom is no longer carrying them so I ordered through Amazon - same style, same numbers on tag. Fit was totally different and uncomfortable. On closer inspection I found the material is different - amazon is mostly cotton and some spandex. Nordstrom had rayon as well as cotton and spandex - much more comfortable. They also were manufactured in different countries. Sent them back.

High quality in manufacturing and material, a "miss" in the stretch at waist

I love this product line and the quality of manufacture and material. This Sea Glass color is really pretty. I have been a Jag jeans customer for many years but have just recently begun buying the pull-up style. These fit differently from the older, zipper and button top design in that I need to order a larger size and, even then, the waist area is much tighter and has less give than is comfortable. The very top of the short or jeans is not stretchy so ends up pinching at the top. In the older design, I wear a size 6; with this design I need to buy a size 10, but as I mentioned above, still, the very top of the garment is not stretchy.
