Buying again!
I’m An avid hiker and I’ve used these for over 4 years on hundreds of hikes in all seasons, long and short hikes and they have never once made my feet hurt. I work on a 40 horse farm and walk roughly 15 miles a day, these have been my ole faithfuls. I bought a pair of Salomon’s (VERY EXPENSIVE) when I finally wore though these and my feet ached Everyday. I’m writing this after buying my second pair!

Not too bad
I bought these for work being a female who does construction and ranch work. I have sensitive feet and ankles. I’m able to wear these all day long for work. I do wear two pair of socks in them but they are working out fine. Could use a little more arch support.

Hiking boots will serve a hiker who hikes mainly on flat terrain
The media could not be loaded. I bought these hiking boots on October 11, 2020 and decided to review these after hiking in them for many months over many miles. I think this hiking boot will serve a hiker who hikes mainly on flat terrain. I’ve hiked in snow with these boots, but with micro-spikes on them though and I never slipped. As far as hiking in these boots without micro-spikes on them in snow, you will slip around. Once I started to hike in these boots on mountain and mountain ridges at 8k to 10k elevation with scree, these boots were not sufficient enough because the tread has a very low profile. Also, I slipped on a boulder with these boots on with very light sand on it and injured my knee (dislocated patella), so if you’re doing scrambling on large sandy boulders I recommend a different boot. Overall these hiking boots are fine on flat terrain, passing through creeks, mud, grassy fields, and puddles. Since the boot is a mid top hiking boot, on terrain where there small rocks, you will notice that tiny rocks can enter the top of your boot near your ankle; the only way to prevent that is by wearing gaiters or purchasing hiking boot the come up higher. I do love the style of these boots they’re so cute! I’ve since bought a different brand boot and purchased mountaineering boots since I am now climbing mountains past 10k elevation and scramble more. If you plan to do light hiking on flat terrain, or not plan to put on a lot of mileage on them for the year, these are your hiking boots! I recommend buying different insoles however for these boots as the insole will flatten really quickly and don’t offer much support. Naturally, wear and tear on hiking boots the more milage you do in them are bound to happen just like your car tires, so I am rating these boots at a solid 4. Happy hiking!

Good Yard Boot
This is my third pair of Itasca Boots in this style since 2018. I use one pair strictly for working in the yard, mowing grass, etc. I keep one pair for wearing out on rainy days in the fall, winter & spring. This is my first pair in the gray color. The shoe laces in this picture did not come with the boots, I ordered them from Amazon. The laces with the boot are not extremely durable and are too long in my opinion. If I used the shoe laces that come with the boot I'd have to wrap them around my ankle or double tie them. After several years of yard work my Itasca boots had worn tread, soles separating & were no longer waterproof. If you want a cushy foot sole, this is not for you unless you want to purchase an insert. It is a good, rugged boot with great ankle support. I've never hiked in these and I normally only wear them a few hours at a time. I normally wear 6 1/2 but had to order up a half size to a 7 for a comfortable fit. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another pair of these Itasca boots and was happy I could still get them.

Met the Need
I needed new hiking boots for a family trip and last minute my old ones blew out. I picked these as a quick choice to determine what style best suits me now. I was happy with the choice and although I've only used them a few times, they were a good value. Comfortable and lightweight.

Perfect!
I am wearing these on every hike I am going since they arrived, plus my daily hikes (5-6 Miles) with my dogs and since day one, they felt comfortable and I never had any blisters or needed to “break them in”. These boots have become my trusty companions and I would never want to miss them again. I am incredibly picky when it comes to my boots - I need proper support but do absolutely dislike it, when I “can’t tell the ground” or my feet feel “boxed in”. These hiking boots hit the mark in every aspect. I am comfortable, have all the support but am still able to rely on my fett’s propioceptors, which helps a lot staying sturdy on rubble on mountains and uncertain grounds. I’d purchase these boots again and again.

Bad shoelaces
Shoe laces are waaaayyyy too long and flimsy, but otherwise the shoes seem great, especially for the price.
