Decent Tails For The Price!

I buy these tails to tie on to the end of my large banner (penant) tails to keep them fro fraying and knotting themselves into a ball at the tip. the colors are bright & the ripstop is hot-cut, but will fray a bit over time. But I'd rathre pay the $8/$9 to replace this tail than about $200 to replace an 80= foot banner tail for my big foils!

Material is sturdy. Easy to cut to desired length. Comes with swivel to mount to kite.

Great Accessory

Picked this up a while back to replace the single, shorter tail that came with my daughter's original kite. She loves it and we get a lot of compliments. It has frayed after a year or two but it's not too bad.

Way better than any wind sock for a light wind indicator !!

I purchased this as a wind indicator for flying a Powered Paraglider. Actually, I cut all but three strands of ribbon and saved the others for when the first three ware out. I purchased a 'grommet kit' to make a new end for the remaining ribbons. This works WAY better as a light wind indicator than any wind sock I have. I actually ordered a second one to have as a spare.. !!!

Really quality made

For $8 you would think this item was cheap. After receiving my first order I instantly ordered another one. I fly a Powered Parachute & need wind direction information from the air & this truly works.

Good but not exactly what I expected

The product is effective and attractive. It seems like it is good enough quality that it wont break down, but I think it could probably look a little nicer. At this price point it looks good. The part I didn't expect is that it is ONE tail. This is not three separate tails. It is one tail that has three parts.Unless you need three separate tails don't let this stop you from buying it though. It works great and looks nice in the sky the way it is.

Nice flyer

It lasted over a year before separating and losing its color. I have had it up in the desert wind and it finally started to fall apart. Very nice visually and a great wind monitor! Ordered another one.

only one to a package

Even though the packaging says there are (2) 3 ribbon tails there is only one 3 ribbon tail in each package. The tail is made from very thin but rip stop material.
